The ferocious lion of Islam, the Shaykh of Terrorizing Allahâs Enemies, the hero of the Islamic Ummah, the architect of modern day Iqaamat al-Deen, the headache of the Tawaagheet, the pleasure in the eyes of the true believers, Shaykh Usamah bin Ladin, has released a new audiotape concerning Palestine and its liberation.

The 33 minute tape starts off with reminding the Ummah of the hell that the Palestinians are going through and then mentions that all the protests and conferences have not led to the end of the occupation. Hence, the title of his tape comes into play. The Shaykh outlines the practical steps that must be taken by the Muslims in the Middle East, specifically in Jordan and âIraq, and he also mentions the importance of the media Jihad without actually directly mentioning it.

Regarding his message for the Muslims in the Middle East, he urged the Ummah to back the Mujahideen of âIraq so that they may liberate it and then move onto to liberating Jordan which would then lead to moving into the West Bank and neighboring areas; with the strategy in use by the Mujahideen, it will then help greatly in defeating the Jews. In my humble opinion, this struggle will not take a year or so; rather, it can take up to 5-10 years since it needs careful pinpoint planning, strong backup and logistical support, and many trustworthy recruits.

The Shaykh mentioned 4 practical steps for the Scholars and preachers to help in the liberation of Palestine:

The first point is to create a list of all of the honest Islamic scholars, preachers, thinkers, writers, and organizations and disseminate this list throughout the Ummah so that they are aware of those who are upon the Haqq. Personally, I know of brothers who hate the Saudi Taaghoot but have no idea about the true Scholars which they have imprisoned and tortured; thus, whenever I bring up a name of a Scholar from that region, they automatically assume that itâs a âScholar of the Sultan.â

The second point is to correct legal (shariâ) concepts in the thought and life of the Ummah. The media jihad needs to heavily focus on tarbiyah and tazkiyyah of the general Muslim populace throughout the world, especially the Middle East. They need to promote the books and websites were one can learn the true âAqeedah, the Ahkam of Jihad, and Fiqh al-Waqiâ therein. There also seemed to be a hint of attacking and demolishing the ideology of the neo-Salafiâs as the Shaykh mentioned the arguments they bring up such as taking permission from the Munafiq rulers to do Jihad in Palestine and elsewhere.

Therefore, educating the Muslim masses and promoting certain books will help the way forward in creating more Salah al-Dinâs arise from the earth, In Shaâ Allah. The books he mentioned by name are as follows:

1. Achievement of the Glorious by Shaykh âAbd al-Rahman bin Hasan al-Shaykh.
2. Concepts which must be corrected by Shaykh Muhammad Qutb
3. Are we Muslims? by Shaykh Muhammad Qutb
4. The Exposition Regarding the Disbelief of the one who assist the Americans by Shaykh Nasir bin Hamad al-Fahd
5. The Saudi Regime on the Scales of Islam (author unknown)

There are many other books I would add to this list, but then again, Iâve only read one of those books.

The third point of the Shaykh was that the Ummah should be aware of the attempts by the Tawaagheet to kill the legal (shariâ) names and terminology to justify those things which Allah has forbidden. For example, Jihad is called âviolenceâ and âterrorismâ and they use these words to ally with the Crusaders to fight the Mujahideen. The Scholars who call for the punishment of Apostasy upon those who ally with the enemies are called âTakfeeri,â and thus, the Tawaagheet jail them, torture them and kill them. The Murtadeen also use words like âpeaceful coexistenceâ and âdialogue of religionsâ and âfriendly statesâ to facilitate support for the Crusader warships which kill Muslims in the end.

The fourth point of the Shaykh is that a list should be made that includes all of the media outlets of the Kuffaar and Munafiqeen to warn the Muslim masses from taking knowledge from them such as their newspapers, books, magazines, radio stations and satellite channels. In addition, it should also include a list of those whose efforts serve the enemies unknowingly such as the rumormongers, the deserters and morale-destroyers. This list should include documents of evidence that prove their errors.
