"The New World Translation and Hebrew Versions," by Lynn Lundquist. This 31-page book gives a fascinating insight into the divine name as it occurs in the Hebrew Versions J17 and J18. These two versions were used as important "J" documents in the translation of the New World Translation Greek Scriptures (published by the Watchtower Society and distributed by Jehovah's Witnesses). According to the title pages of both J17 and J18, these two Hebrew versions were produced by THE SOCIETY FOR DISTRIBUTING THE HOLY SCRIPTURES TO THE JEWS. J18 was published by THE TRINITARIAN BIBLE SOCIETY. The questions this short book asks are these: "Why did the New World Bible Translation Committee choose Hebrew versions produced by a Trinitarian Bible publisher as support documents for their New World Translation?" and, "What translation bias will we find in a 'New Testament' published by a Trinitarian Bible publisher for the purpose of converting Jews to a belief in Jesus as Messiah?" Book has been released into the public domain by the author.
