The documentary is the opposite of TV superficiality
One had to post the first review in this section. So I took the chance. One of the reasons why we selected WAIA for Globians Film Festival and for this online film collection was that we felt the film maker's being with the people of this tribe -- and that his documentary was condensed and composed as the opposite of smooth TV docs with their superficiality. Following this movie is not a smooth thing. It takes a lot of time (the 80 min. of the running time) to let us follow and understand what's going on in this tribe village and why things are done the way it is shown to us by the film makers: an understanding of community establishes and celebrates itself with the means of community rites, as we watch very rare, remote and precious proceedings.
