our forecast. what can we expect tonight? >> our wind speeds will pick up and stick around with us. you can see light rain hugging the city and cape may. you're seeing rainfall near trenton. most of the rainfall slowly to the northeast. it was nonstop today for atlantic city, that was the bull's eye. we picked up three inches of rainfall. lisbon, new jersey, three inches, close to the philadelphia airport. right now temperatures only in the 40s, 48, mostly cloudy skies at the airport. wind speeds out of the north at 14 miles an hour. wind speeds continue as we head into tonight. temperatures stay down as well, 45 by 6:00 p.m. with light showers expected. clearing by 8:00 p.m., 44 degrees. closer to 10:00 p.m., cold and

windy, tracking windchills heading in, i'll have the full forecast coming up. denise. >> thanks, brittney. new at 6:00, father and daughter busted accused of beating and shooting a man in philadelphia's queen village last weekend. the crime was caught on camera. one of the suspects has been identified as well-known mummer carmen demoto. he and his daughter turned themselves into police last night. monique braxton joins us live with what happened. you went to the home. >> reporter: that's right. i also spoke to one of the suspects. tonight both of charged with aggravated assault and weapons violations. we rang the doorbell here at the queen village home. rita, 36-year-old woman investigators say seen on this videotape swinging a baseball bat declined an interview on the

intercom. >> would you give me a statement or interview i could use. we want to hear your side of the story. >> her father butchie, a member of the vikings club. we found a brick on the building. fellow mummers told us the board instructed them to refrain from talking. investigators say this video taken at 2nd and carpenter speaks volumes. captured the entire violent attack on a 36-year-old homeless man last saturday morning. police also say carmen demoto allegedly shot the victim in the leg. after police asked for the public's help, detectives say they turned themselves in. we spoke to people who lived near. >> it was wrong. i didn't know it was a homeless man. >> they did something illegal, fine. >> are you relieved to know they have been arrested. >> i am relieved, yes. >> they will be back in court on

november 18th. we also reached out to their attorney frank d. simone. he declined comment as well. monique braxton, nbc 10 news. >> no septa strike. the workers union announced they have reached a new detail. the two sides stayed at the bargaining table until about 11:00 last night as they hammered out an agreement. both sides are keeping mum tonight. a source tells us the deal includes a 5% pay raise over two years. union members must ratify the new contract. that vote is set for friday. turning now to a halloween candy scare. families in a montgomery county community on high alert after a razor blade found in a wrapped candy bar. it was discovered while trick or treaters going door do door near woodlawn drive and walnut lane. that's where we find randy

gyllenhaal. police are concerned there might be more cases like this? >> reporter: since there was that one. concern is there may be more tainted pieces out there. they are not releasing the specific brand of candy because they want parents to check every piece big and small. in this case the razor blade hidden in a fun-sized piece of candy, about this size. a 13-year-old boy trick or treating in this quiet, tight-knit neighborhood found a razor blade tucked into a wrapper. his mother took that to police. this neighborhood full of family and children, usually very quiet. they can believe someone would do this here, do it trying to harm children. the local school district sent an alert to check children's loot. we did speak with families here who are going through each of those bags of candy to make sure nothing is hidden inside but there is no evidence right now. there are more tainted pieces out there. parents, though, want to be very

cautious. >> i told the children not to open their candy. they need to give it to me before they open it. >> investigations continue on how the razor blade got into the wrapper. she feels like it was filled at the time. we don't know but we're doing to look into it. >> reporter: the boy's mother went to police bringing the candy in, the razor blade now in evidence. it did not cause injuries. you often hear about this kind of thing, razor blades in candy bars as urban legends. they can't believe it happened outside their neighborhood. nbc 10 news. new information about an accident that left a woman in extremely critical condition this morning. police tell us she was hit by two cars in front of temple university hospital in north philadelphia. the first car stopped. but investigators say the second car did not. no one has been arrested. police are looking at surveillance video as part of

their investigation. two people are dead following an accident on roosevelt boulevard. police say the man and woman ran into traffic and were hit by a car. it happened around 6:00 along boulevard in the section of the city. arrests have been made. drunk driving charges have been filed against the man involved in a deadly crash in the city's logan section. it happened just before 2:00 this morning where investigators say a 69-year-old man was behind the wheel when his car hit a pole on the 4900 block of steton avenue. his passenger killed. a man is shot on a philadelphia street. now police are search forego a suspect. nbc 10 on the scene on the 1300 block of wakeling street in frankfurt. police say a man was waiting to get into a friend's building when a gunman came up and shot him. she heard two shots before she opened the door and found the
