lehigh valley, delaware in the clear. it has cooled down nicely. 61 degrees in wilmington. at this hour temperatures are still falling. by 7:00, 60 degrees enjoying sunshine. up 16 degrees by 10:00 this morning. everybody will see that nice warmupment sunny skies from delaware through new jersey and into pennsylvania. at the shore, won't be 87, middle 70s, but a beautiful day ahead. warmer weather to come. look at the seven-day and the next threat of showers in our area when i come back. sheer jessica boyington with a look at traffic. >> looking at the blue route, cameras turned around at the mid county tolls. in problems or delays there. an accident out in abington on

collidge avenue. the schuylkill expressway doing okay for the most part. no big delays headed east bound into the city or westbound out of the city. 13 minutes there. watch for that construction around the blue route. left lane is closed headed eastbound. we have this breaking new just in. a gunman opens fire on an arizona highway. right now the highway in scottsdale is shut down in both directions as police search for the shooter. official s tell us the gunman ht two cars, the driver of one car was grazed by a bullet. we continue to follow this breaking news, violent protests break out at a donald trump rally in new mexico. the clash happened outside the convention center and police in riot gear tried to keep order. nbc 10's matt delucia has been working on the new developments. you have video of what happened last night and a look ahead at what's happening today.

walk us through. >> police say that several officers are being treated for injuries after being hit by rocks and there's been at least one arrest. take a look. >> i was born free! i am an american citizen! >> this is what it looked like last night in the streets of albuquerque. protesters started burning pro trump flags and signs. they also started throwing bottles and garbage outside the venue. police used smoke canisters against the crowds. donald trump on twitter only said it was a great rally and an amazing crowd. there were a few interruptions inside the rally, but outside is getting all the attention. in march, trump had to cancel an event because of a clash between supporters and protesters. hillary clinton's campaign will be continuing its attack on

trump's record of hoping for the housing market to crash in order to make money. later today, several groups are planning a news conference to denounce that stance. neither clinton nor trump have officially clinched their party's nomination. several more states still have to vote including new jersey. live in the digital operations center, i'm matt delucia, nbc 10 news. two big name also campaign for hillary clinton in the guard chb state today. former congressman gaby giffords and her husband, retired astronaut mark kelly will participate in a gun violence roundtable in cherry hill. today marks two months until the start of the democratic convention in philadelphia. organizers are preparing for protests here. as we told you last week, convention planners will set up an area close to the wells fargo center where demonstrators can be seen and heard by the delegates. the convention's ceo told me she wants everyone to express views

and she says she's sympathetic to protesters because she's been a protester herself in the past. >> i've been part of many protests in my life. not always at the democratic convention, but i grew up in an activist home and household, so i know a little bit about marches and state-ins, rallies, sign making. >> the city has given permission for bernie sanders supporters to hold a four-day rally in fdr park adjacent to the sports complex. the city issued a permit for an anti-fracking group to stage a march from city hall to independence mall. there is a push for universal pre-k across the country. today leaders will meet in philadelphia to discuss how they can make it possible for all children to get high-quality early education. the william penn foundation is hosting the event. a montgomery county mom says

in the lehigh valley, 63 degrees at 8:00, middle 70s by 10:00. close to 90 degrees this afternoon. new jersey, interior new jersey will see a quick warmup. clouds have moved out. bright sunshine from 8:00 through the noontime hour. into the afternoon. maybe a few scattered late day clouds. 86 degrees. winds out of the west at 10 miles per hour. that will warm things up for the shore communities as well. along the beach, sunshine and 70s. right now 59 degrees. for delaware, sunshine in store. 61 degrees now. 65 at 8:00. we'll warm through the 70s into the 80s this afternoon. middle to upper 80s for parts of delaware today. here's a look at the memorial

we don't know the trial date yet, but a judge in montgomery county has ordered bill cosby to stand trial in a sexual assault case. cosby is accused of drugging and violating andrea constand. the alleged assault happened at cosby's home in 2004. the defense contends it was one night and a consensual sexual relationship. >> the point of this is that it was intoxicating to her and she was unable to consent. >> prove there was no crime committed here, the inconsistencies that plague this investigation from the beginning continue to plague it now. >> if convicted cosby could face up to ten years in prison. the comedian has been free on $1 million bail since his arrest in

december. a montgomery county mother says she was publicly shaped for nursing her son at spring valley ymca. say the haslam says during a gym class on monday a ymca employee asked her to leave. >> she's like there's men in this class they're uncomfortable with you nursing in here. >> mom was sitting on a balance beam with her feet on another balance beam, that's what i was told. and was just asked to move because the kids in that class were ready to participate or wanted to participate on the slides. >> the ymca president and ceo said it was a misunderstanding. the spring valley ymca issued an apology saying all mothers should feel comfortable breast feeding anywhere. in pennsylvania it is illegal to ask a nursing mother to move. the quick thinking of a north jersey bus driver saved the lives of 22 high school students after their bus started smoking and then caught fire. you can see the flames shooting from the bus in this picture.

this is paramus bergen county. when firefighters got there, the fire was still going strong. the bus driver had just picked up students at paramus high school when he saw smoke coming from under the hood of the busment he ordered everyone off the bus. thanks to that bus driver no one was hurt. a local lawmaker is making a new push for rules to help fight zika. it could effect homeowners in new castle county. vai sikahema is here to tell us more about the proposal. >> reporter: good morning. experts are warning that zika carrying mosquitos could soon hit the u.s., and one local official wants his community to be proposed. he wants to amend the new castle county county code to prohibit the accumulation of standing water on peoples property. the goal is to eliminate places where mosquitos breed. at the same time we're finding

many insect repellants won't keep bugs away for long. 16 popular repellants were put to the test. while many ward off west nile carrying dear ticks for itch to 8 hours, more than one-third of brands tested lasted an hour or less against zika spreading mosquitos. even worse, the testing found plant-based bug sprays, they were not as effective as other repellants. >> if you wanted to go with a more natural product, the oil of lemon eucalyptus is the best choice. >> in addition to the lemon y k eucalypt eucalyptus, the most effective repellants include deet tick and insect wilderness formula. zika has been linked to birth defects. over 270 pregnant women in the u.s. are infected with the zika

the 5:00 hour. septa will team up with uber. septa officials say they will reveal information about a summer pilot program, the goal of which is is to increase access to and from select regional rail stations in the suburbs. count on nbc 10 and the nbc 10 app to bring you new details as soon as it's announced. there is something new in ocean city that will allow you to enjoy the beach a bit longer. you can now add time to your parking meter without leaving your beach chair. this month the seaside resort town rolled out the parkmobile app for all 1800 parking meters. >> how many times do you come to park and you have no quarters? and nobody wants to give you change. so i think that's a great idea. >> after setting up an account and providing a payment method just enter a parking zone number in the app to start the timerment you can remotely add time as long as it doesn't

exceed the parking time limit. residents near rutgers university are begging officials to do something about a house that hosts frequent parties. the home hosts gatherings that are essentially kraoutdoor concerts. residents say there are no port-a-johns which means their lawns are becoming bathrooms. >> girls getting undressed, urinating right over there. >> our sister station, wnbc in new york spoke to a rutgers grad who rents the house, he apologized. the town's mayor says an investigation is ongoing. happening today, philadelphia is launching the busy summer tourism season with a campaign that redefines the city's historic district. they're even renaming the old philadelphia's original city. it spans from the delaware river to 7th street, from lombard street north to vine. the aim is to get visitors to
