shooting in milwaukee.we now know two people were shot while riding their bikes...in the area of 47-th and clarke around nine last night. night.police say a 25 year old man and a 27 year old woman were confronted by a person with a gun.the suspect shot them both.one woman who has lived in the area for more than 20 years says she has gotten use to the violence. its a disgrace...its just a shame you know if you dont keep a tight hold on your kids and you know this is all they see and this is all they see in the schools and everywhere else its just like i said its just a norm for them too. 3 the two people shot were taken to a local hospital where they are expected to survive. milwaukee police are still looking for the suspect this morning. 3 now to a developing story... there is now ?new? evidence that could lead police to the driver responsible for hitting and killing a 5-year-old girl. milwaukee police say ?this? surveillance video shows a silver porsche cayenne... moments before the driver hit little langham... and kept

the rest of the budget was also approved yesterday... and now headed to chris abele's desk. the city of milwaukee is laying out its plans to get ?water filters? into homes.. at risk of lead contamination. lead pipe filters will be available to milwaukee residents by november 29th. two types of "aqua-sana" filters will be available to businesses and homes. the filters last about a year.. and are ?free? to those who have lead in their water. city officials say their first priority will be 385 daycares... along with homes with pregnant n children under the age of one. we know that this is an issue that is going to cross demographics and cross communities and so the more people that identify that their homes are impacted by lead levels the better. 3 3 the city recommends families with lead pipes... to test children for lead poisoning. you can pick up filters at the 16th street community health center. 3 more than a dozen people ran ?more? than the 26-point-two miles during the milwaukee running festival over the weekend.that could have cost ?some elite runners?... their

you are going to want to make sure to bring your photo id. you'll also want to bring proof of residence.to make it easier you should have your i-d ready when entering your polling place.poll workers will ask you to sign a poll list, give you a voting number, then hand you a ballot. as long as you're in line at eight tonight... you'll be able to vote.if you don't have a provisional ballot.you must present an i-d by four p-m on friday to have your vote counted.if you have already voted either by mail or in person absentee and wanted to change your vote, you are out of luck. while wisconsin law allows your to change your vote, the deadline to change those has already passed. polls open at 7 and close at 8 o'clock.
