you're especially going to notice that next weekend. and i'll tell you if the cold fronts will bring us rain. that's coming up in the full forecast in a few minutes. >> all right. thank you very much for the update. breaking news we are following right now. three people were killed in a fiery crash on interstate 75 earlier this morning. another person was transported to the hospital in critical condition. news channel 8 is live on the scene with the latest. what can you tell us? >> reporter: candace, this is just a very tragic crash that that is i-75. the dad died, two children died and the person taken to tampa general, that was the mom of the two young children. they were just 5 and 9 years old. and look at some of the video. i'm sure you notice that the car completely burnt up. when firefighters got to the scene, they said it was already 50% engulfed and in flames and they said that two people inside and the car were dead.

hospital. that was the mom. and witnesses tell state troopers that the car was traveling northbound on i-75 when it lost control, hit a guardrail and then tumbled over, down here to woodbury road. and investigators are still conducting their investigation. they said this road will be closed for another hour or so. because they're still here and the medical examiner is still here finishing up some of his work. and fur about to make morning commute, woodbury road near brandon is closed. >> our thoughts and prayers are with the family. thank you. on the campaign trail, a mad dash to the finish line. we are down to two days until election day. the clinton campaign has events in seven battleground states while the trump campaign holds rallies in eight. governor mike pence will rally in panama city today while president barack obama campaigns for clinton in kissimmee. and donald trump will return to the bay area tomorrow for a

last night, tense moments in nevada. take a look at secret service as they rushed trump off the stage in the middle of the speech. we're told a man showed a gun in the crowd and that's when they whisked him away. moments later, trump returned to the stage. >> nobody said it was going to be easy for us. but we will never be stopped. i want to thank the secret service. these guys are fantastic. [ applause ] >> a man identified as austin crites was detained by police officers and secret service. this is video of officials holding him down. no charges were filed and he has been released. he told reporters it started after he raised a sign against trump and was assaulted by a group around him. >> there were people on my neck, basically trying to choke

and if you have not voted yet, you have one more day to vote early. the polls opened six minutes ago and they are open until 7:00 this evening. the state of florida has seen record early voter turn-out. here in hillsborough, they have seen more early voters than in the last presidential election. as of this morning, more than 216,000 early votes have been cast. have been returned. that's almost 400,000 in hillsborough county. and pinellas just under 300,000 votes cast. and in pasco, 142,000 people have taken advantage of early voting and voting by mail. preparations are underway in hillsborough county for election day. saturday clerks picked up paper works, cellphones and supplies needed to return the ballots on election night as they prepare for tuesday. >> we have 340 precincts in the county so the clerks come by to

north. when deputies responded to a domestic disturbance cost. -- call. a 49-year-old was found ramming his home and his wife's car with his pickup truck. he was shot and killed after they say he charged at them with a knife. >> we are fortunate the deputies are safe and that they were able to do what they did to protect themselves because he was clearly coming at them. a good portion is captured on video. that we have been able to review. >> and deputies report that he said, quote, you're going to have to kill me when they told him to drop his weapon. and we're told he had a history of mental health issues and had been drinking the night of the shooting after a year of sobriety. the investigation is still ongoing and of course, we will keep you updated. and another officer- involved shooting in plant city. one man is in the hospital. police say the officer was responding to a theft call.

and a fight started. we're told the police officer shot the man in self defense. a local businessman heard the gunshots. >> it's unfortunate, here we are in the small town of plant city, and the historic district, and something like this should happen on a beautiful saturday afternoon. >> well, of course, we will keep you updated on that case. a pasco county teenager is facing a second degree felony charge for talking about a ho deputies arrested a student in spring hill. he told two classmates he knew where to get a gun and the perfect time to doing the shooting. the boy admitted to making the statements but said he wasn't serious. new discoveries in a horrifying case out of south carolina. coming up, investigators found one body and there may be more. details coming up next on news

authorities in south carolina have identified a body found on the same property where a woman was discovered alive chained to a metal container. they say the body was that of charlie carver, he was the boyfriend of the woman found chained up on the property thursday. there are possibly two more bodies on the property. >> we haven't found the other two. we have been shown where they are possibly located on the property.

the sheriff says there may be potentially seven more bodies on the property. the suspect may be facing more charges. three people are dead including two children and three others are hospitalized after a stabbing inside and of a newark home. a 26-year-old is a person of interest in the case and warned that he is potentially armed and dangerous. there's a warrant out for his arrest on unrelated aggravated and sexual assault charges. the motive for the stabbing remains unknown. warehouse. nearly 200 firefighters battled the flames on the city's southwest side. it may have been started by homeless people trying to stay warm. no one was in the building at the time of the fire. there were no reported injuries. ever heard of that good stomach bacteria?

at about 2:30 this morning, witnesses tell highway patrol that a car was traveling northbound on i-75 at a very high rate of speed. they lost control of their vehicle and they hit a guardrail. and then the cement. and then they tumbled down here. their car caught on fire. two people were ejected from the car and two people burned up inside and the car. very sad situation this morning. the ages were 5 years old and 9 and the mom was taken to tampa general hospital in very, very serious condition this morning. the medical examiner just left here a few minutes ago and i am told that this road should re- open by 8:00 this morning. but again, it has been closed since around 2:30 this morning. this has been very, very serious crash and tragic for the family. >> absolutely. our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

cloudiness through the day as well. temperatures hit 78 degrees at noon. and 83 for the afternoon high. and that will be at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon. and starting off, mild temperatures above average with 64 for inverness and lakeland, 64 in bartow. and again, the numbers fairly uniform. that cloudiness helping that here. and the highs today will be cooler to the north. we will have upper 70s, low to mid-80s to the south. and we will hit 82 in clearwater. and scattered clouds, sunshine breaking through. and one batch of showers that's started to push out into the gulf of mexico, and continuing to move abrave the coastline. and a -- move away from the coastline. and the dry air, that's the area of red. this morning, higher moisture values helping to sustain at least sprinkles. but on the heel, another batch of dry air in the gulf of mexico and that will slide over our heads today. there's the forecast through

sunshine. similar story for the afternoon. i think more sun than clouds. and then as we start going into monday, a dry start to the week and looking good as we head back to work and school. by monday afternoon, mostly sunny skies, a few clouds. and the humidity values will generally stay in the not too bad category and then they'll increase and then rapidly drop again. and that will be in advance of the next cold front. and that cold front will help to drop our temperatures as well. in the way for sunday, monday and tuesday. morning lows will stay in the 60 east here. and long term again, staying with the low 80s through wednesday and thursday, rain chances come up. but focus quickly on your tuesday rather. we will go back to tuesday, of course, that being election day . that's when the polls open at 6:00 here. and again, overall, not too bad. higher moisture values and the rain chances though, they are
