a little bit of construction but wrapping up still one lane taken away. should be leaders up very soon north 75 and university parkway. that's a look at weather and traffic. and breaking news this morning the death of former u.s. attorney general janet reno. she was the first woman to serve in the position. she was at the center of several political storms. >> one of the them includes the 2000 stand off in miami over a 5-ar cuba and staying with relatives in miami. she ordered the raid on the home to return him to his father in cuba. she also unsuccessfully ran for florida governor in 2002 narrowly losing the democratic primary. she was 78 years old. on the campaign trail it is down to the final day of campaigning and donald trump and hillary clinton are still fighting for the sunshine state. >> yeah, trump will spend the

criminal charges for her mishandling of classified information through a private email server. sunday fbi director james comey told lawmakers they have not changed the conclusion they reached back in july. the clinton campaign welcomed the news. . >> we're glad to see that he has found as we were confident that we would that he has confirmed the conclusions that he are really reached in july, and we're glad that this matter is resolved. . >> donald trump continues to claim clinton as being protected by what he calls a rigged system, and believes the fbi has not done its job. . early voting is done and gone in florida with election day tomorrow. officials are working very hard around the clock to make sure thing run smoothly. we're live at the hillsborough county supervisor of elections office. those workers are making sure that more than 300 voting machines

>> reporter: good morning. it's a huge task and there are hundreds of precincts here in hillsborough county so officials here at the elections office must make sure that the machines are functions properly. machine safety is important as well. >> we've actually already started delivering equipment out to the sites, ought the equipment is locked up with seals on it. so we're again ensured that we're going to have a safe the equipment is out in plain sight too. >> reporter: hillsborough county uses electronic machines that it willy the votes once the paper ballots are inserted. workers are able to go back and count by hand if there are any problems. the supervisor of election tells news channel 8 only registered voters are allowed inside voting sites. the public can't monitor the system even though that's what donald trump has suggested

voting in hillsborough county to date. all 16 early voting sites closed yesterday at 7 p.m. 242,000 people voted early in the county, more than 176,000 mailed in their ballots. now, back here live this morning the supervisor tells us he's not concerned about the system being tampered with by some outside force because the system is not connected to the internet. electric eve, weather appeared traffic on the #s. good morning. we still are officially about 40 minutes from sunrise, but we're already starting to see daylight coming up. this is a beautiful look. 63 degrees this morning as you r monday started and from there we quickly warm up 72 by 9 a.m. 11 a.m., 78, 1 p.m. 82, and the afternoon high of 84 happens around 3 p.m.

. earling voting is over and now officials are getting ready for election day 2016. hard to believe it is tomorrow. we're live at the hillsborough county supervisor of elections office. they have been gearing up for election day for months now. >> reporter: they have been getting ready for quite a while, and of course there are hundreds of voting machines here in hillsborough county that need to be double checked, triple checked as well so make sur and that's what officials did inside the supervisor of elections office all weekend long. the county uses electronic machines that tally the votes once the paper bat lots are inserted. workers are able to go back and count the ballots by hand if there are any problems. the supervisor tells news channel 8 only registered voters, officials and poll watchers are allowed inside. the public can't monitor the

mother is hospitalized after a horrible crash on i-75 in hillsborough county. it killed her 2 children and their father. the 31-year old, his 9-year old little girl and 5-year old son died in the crash on i-75 early sunday morning. tiffany young survived. it happened near woodberry road where troopers believe the father lost control of his vehicle and flipped over the barrier. debris was scattered throughout meanwhile friends who knew the father are simply shocked. >> he would go to work, family man. the only time you see him catch him in the yard if he's out doing something in the yard. >> this morning investigators are still trying to determine what caused this horrific crash. they believe greene may have been driving under the influence but waiting on the toxicology report. the manatee county sheriffs office is investigating the deadly shooting of an 1 year old

block of 4th street east after 4 p.m. on sunday. she was taken to the hospital where she later died. investigators tell us they don't believe this was a random incident. anyone with information about this case is asked to call the manatee county sheriffs office. new this morning an electrical issue may be to blame for a house fire. crews battled the fire around midnight. it started in the rear of the home appeared spread to the attic. no one was county bat ted an overnight fire at an apartment complex. the flames broke out in an apartment. the crews evacuated several apartments but still no word right now on what caused that fire. the good news here: no one was hurt. across amew horrifying details from south carolina where a missing woman was found alive chained like a dog. investigators now believe the

a serial killer. investigators say he has confessed to 4 murders and may have killed even more people. 4 of those murders happened 13 years ago at a motorcycle shop in south carolina. he's also accused of killing the boyfriend of the women investigators found alive on his property. today an iowa will pay tribute to officers killed in an ambush. parts of oklahoma are cleaning up today after an earthquake. the 5.0 quake rattled residents in the central part of the state. this is some of the footage of some of damage. no one was hurt but you can see a lot of debris scattered throughout the streets. we're just shy of 6:48,
