this latest poll just out yesterday afternoon from suffolk university showing that the donald trump and hillary clinton are now officially tied here in new hampshire. 42% each in this four-way race. now, this poll was taken entirely after fbi director letter to congress last week about the clinton e-mail investigation. that's just about when clinton saw her lead disappear. her support in this poll drops two points since the suffolk university. it must be noted trump's numbers didn't actually right to create this tie. both candidates in the carolinas yesterday. let's hear from them. >> we know hillary can't be trusted. we learned that. with america's security, take look at e-mail situation. can we trust her with our security? >> it is about who we are, what we want, what we are going to do

trying to convince a jury he shouldn't die for what he did. confession of convicted killer gary lee sampson was played in court yesterday. sampson is back in court five years after the death sentence was thrown out on a technicality. his attorneys are trying to connect his killing spree to a brain injury that he suffered when he fell down the stairs at four years old. the government says his police confession shows just how calculated he was. >> stabbed in the lung, in the chest and the throat, went down to the ground, i slit his throat. why? i do not know. >> sara: sampson was convicted in 2003 of three. once the case is over the jury will once again decide to sentence sampson to death.

meteorologist shiri spear joining us now. shiri, you're saying sorry, no more 60s, but things will be nice and bright out there. >> shiri: 60s aren't expected this time of year so not exactly a shock but temperatures well below average here into the weekend, plus today we got wind gusting 20, 30 miles per hour which adds extra chill to the air and remember clocks fall back this sunday morning which means gain an extra hour of sleep but also means the sunset here on sunday evening is 4:30 and that's going to take some adjusting. clear skies in boston, 48? and lawrence at 46, norwood at 45. so dressing for the 40s, so not too cold this morning, just a little bit cool out there, the wind not too active yet but now that the sun is coming up, wind will be strengthening and tell gusts that we are dealing with late-morning through the afternoon. so by 9:00 a.m. 48?, 11:00 a.m. this goes for norwood, 53, got highs today in the mid to upper 50s. we got a lot of afternoon sun.
