be interesting to see what voter turnout is like today. this is the first election for which massachusetts allowed early voting and ran from october 24th through november 4th and many communities saw great success. the state has 4.5 million registered voters and more than 1 million cast their ballots during the early voting period. still today expected to be a busy day at the polls in addition to the presidential race, voters will also weigh in on four binding ballot questions, two of them in particular have divided not one of the questions is question two. voters need to decide if they should allow 12 approvals for the charter schools and expanded enrollment in charter schools and enrollment can't exceed 1% of the statewide public school enrollment. governor charlie baker has been vocal in supporting the yes vote, even appearing in tv ads and charter schools give parents a choice and provide a pathway for students, trapped in a failing school. boston mayor marty walsh urging

charter school numbers too quickly and drain district budgets. the other question we heard a lot about is question four, deals with the legalization of marijuana. voters need to decide if the state should allow people over the age of 21 to possess, use and distribute limited amounts of marijuana. those activities will be dicriminallallized and regulate and tax marijuana accessories and products. this one governor baker urging northbound as gateway drug that would transf streets but supporters of question four say prohibiting marijuana use hasn't worked and makes sense to tax and regulate it. waiting to come into the hall in this room and which of the questions were most important for them and all question two about the charter schools and again that will be different for everybody and see there's quite a turnout despite the early voting and polling place as we
