drain during the sudden downpour. just before noon sunday, police found a body in the merrimack river matching jacob's description. >> my wife has been in tears all night. her mother's been crying all night just not knowing. >> victoria: jacob's uncle held out hope all weekend, even though early on police found jacob's belongings near the storm drain and saw him on surveillance video. >> the police watched footage of him on camera walking up this path bin disappeared. that was the last time he was seen on camera. he just dropped out of sight. >> victoria: police continue to investigate as friends and family continue to try to understand how something like this could happen. >> like it doesn't seem real to me that something like this could happen where i could be making jokes with him in second block and school and then a day later he turns up missing. >> victoria: and they are going to have grief councilors

suspects. >> christa: also this morning a man in lowell will be cleaning up lots of cleaning up after trees ended up causing significant damage to his yard. trees were uprooted in his lawn. they crashed into the garage leaving a large hole in the roof. police shut down the road for a while as crews were worried the strong winds might cause other trees to fall, as well. >> i get up and i see the two house. i didn't know what to think. the rain we had, there was... the ground was soggy, yeah, the torrential rains loosened it up. >> christa: he plans to clear the other trees near his home, as well and is glad that neither he nor his dog milo was hurt. new this morning, students at boston latin school speaking out again.

signed an online petition protesting the school's dress code. the ban bans spaghetti straps and gang-relateed items. students say it discriminates against women and minorities. >> sarah: man is and reckless driving charges. police say he rear-ended a cruiser on saturday, seriously injuring the officer inside. you can see he was pretty banged up from that crash. two other passengers in the car walked away unharmed. the injured police officer has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home. >> christa: and right now firefighters trying to figure our how a train ended up getting punctured causing about 2,400 gallons of fuel to spill. this was in error. according to the "globe" it took

up that area. officials believe a train hit something in the rail yard while it was moving sunday evening. american airlines says a couple boarding well before their scheduled depart time caused a flight at logan the get delayed. the airline says the couple managed to get on board this plane two hours ahead of schedule on sunday. authorities say the pair managed to get on the plane when the door should have been locked and they weren't discovered until boarding. now, american airlines released the following statement saying, "out of an abundance of caution, we unite liced a boston. >> sarah: more news today. boston police commissioner william evans receiving a special honor. he was presented with the isaac hecker award for social justice over the weekend. the commissioner received the award for his humble and compassionate approach the community policing. >> christa: and a trip to the convenience store paying off in a big way for man in rockland. anthony mclaughland won $4 million after purchasing a $10 lottery ticket.

northbound side and then crashed into a car with four people inside. so all five were killed. 495 north was shut down as state police investigated. it has since reopened. state police are still trying to piece together exactly what led up to that crash. but as you head over to 7's kris anderson and fast track alert, chris, the good news is that highway is back open. >> kris: a horrific accident there, but again, 495 in the middleborough area, northbound and southbound lanes are back open. you shouldn't have any problems there are some problems on the expressway, no accidents, but that monday morning slowdown as you're getting around the gas tank. this is 93 on the expressway heading into boston. andlet's go to the maps. only 14 minutes from the split up to the tunnel. here's where those slowdowns are you saw showing you a few moments ago. 3 looking pretty good. 24 starting to see the backup. there and you see some slowdowns around the braintree split. 95 connecting with 128 looking good. the mass pike from 495 through framingham, smooth sailing.

>> christa: right now dracut police are trying the find a missing woman. kathryn lucier was last seen in the area of very debt road. she's 75 years old. police used a dog and helicopter to search over night. a memorial service will be held in connecticut wednesday for the woman who was lost at sea during a fishing trip with her son last month. according to the hartford courant, gnaw than carmen is planning the m saying it's too premature to hold the event. nathan carmen survived after spending more than a week in the raft after going on a trip with his mother last month. court records reveal that both nathan and his mother were suspects in the murder of her father back in 2013. no charges were ever filed against either of them. a personal foul at the end of saturday's college football game between southern connecticut and merrimack, fists flying right on the field.

this. let's go to 7's john cuoco in middleborough with what we know so far. john? >> john: christa, state police confirming a multiple fatality crash on 495 involving two cars and five people. all five people were killed. now, from what we've learned from state police, one car was driving the wrong way, going south in the northbound lane of 495 near exit 3. that single driver hit a car with four people inside. the crash happened just after midnight. investigating the northbound lane is now open. it was closed earlier. you can see in this video just how bad this crash was. state police sent out a tweet saying they will be updating the media at some point this morning. once we get that information, we'll make sure to bring it right to you. for now live in middleborough, john cuoco, 7news "today in new england." >> sarah: time now for fast track traffic with kris anderson. is that crash impacting the

both the northbound and southbound lanes of 495 are open in middleborough. the scene is clear. there shouldn't be any traffic back-ups as a result of that earlier accident. this is a look live outside north of town. zakim bridge, 93 and the leverett connector, an we have a shot of south of town now. this is the expray heading into boston. not so express. all the brake lights popping up. let's look at the mays real quickly because it will take you 33 minutes. it jumped up since i left my to the tunnel. routes 3, 24 and 95 backed up as you connect with 128. turnpike starting to slow down through framingham as you get closer to boston, as well. 93, the accident up here at 495 in and year has cleared, but there's still some back-ups 93 heading into boston. route 1 in saugus is looking pretty good. let's take a look at the drive times and show you what you're dealing with. 26 minutes split to the tunnel. 128 to 93, 13 minutes. 25 minutes, 128 to the zakim. back to you, guys. >> christa:

police say a body found in merrimack river is believed to be that of missing teenager jacob goulet. of nashua, new hampshire. his belongings were found near a storm drain. police are investigating after they say someone was sexually assaulted in a dorm in boston university. it allegedly happened early sunday morning. the university sending out an alert to students yesterday afternoon. right now police do not have any suspects. >> sarah: wild weather causing trouble for a man in lowell. he'l ended up causing quite a bit of damage to his garage right here. so a strong wind gust uprooted a pair of trees in the front lawn of mike gay early sunday morning. they crashed into the garage, left a huge hole in the roof. police had to shut down the road for a while as the crews were worried that strong winds might cause other trees to fall, as well. >> i get up and i see the two trees knocking over my house.

the rain we had, there was... the ground was soggy, yeah. torrential rains loosened it up. >> christa: he plans to clear the other trees near his home. he's just glad he and his dog milo weren't injured. >> sarah: a drunk driver that crashed into an east bridgewater police officer will appear in court. a 24-year-old is facing o.u.i. and reckless driving charges. cruiser saturday, seriously injuring the officer inside. as you can see, he was pretty banged up from that crash, as well. the two other passengers in the car walked away unharmed. the injured officer has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home. >> christa: firefighters trying to figure out how a train ended up getting punctured, causing about 2,400 gallons of fuel to spill with the tanker that was punctured here. according to the "globe," it

teen who may have fallen into a storm drain before being swept away. 7's victoria warren is live this morning with the very latest. vicki? >> victoria: the last anybody knew, sarah, this teen was walking this path during some pretty heavy rains. police tracked hill right at this spot where this storm drain, is and now there is a growing memorial as friends and family try to come to terms with exactly something like this could happen. a 16-year-old jacob goulet went missing friday and friends and family fear h away into the storm drain during a sudden downpour. just before noon sunday, police found a body in the merrimack river matching jacob's description. jay can be's uncle says the family held out hope all weekend, even though early on police found jay can be's belongings near the storm drain. we saw him on surveillance video. police say at one point during the video he just dropped out of sight. so today they're going to do an autopsy on the body to do an official confirmation on whether
