22 year old alonso sandoval will be in federal court at 2 this afternoon. prosecutors say his cousin...the other suspect in this case...bought the gun for him two years ago. then they say...sandoval ended up selling it to someone else...eventually making it's way to the shooter. milwaukee police officer brandon baranowski survived two shots to his arm, two that lodged in his bullet proof vest and another that grazed when 20 year old tomas uriegas ambushed baranowski ...as he responded to a domestic violence call in july on milwaukee's south side. uriegas shot and killed himself. the 22 caliber ruger used: traced to two men: emanuel romo and alonso sandoval. an indictment says it was two years ago that romo bought the gun at the shooters shop in west allis, the indictment accuses romo of lying, buying the gun for his cousin , sandoval who couldn't legally buy it because he had a drug history. the indictment says sandoval sold and

justice department will release a report criticizing baltimore's police force. the report sums up a year-long investigation... prompted by freddie gray's death in 2015... which sparked massive protests. the report says baltimore police officers routinely discriminate against black people... repeatedly use excessive force... and have not been held report also accused officers of making a large number of stops in mostly poor, black neighborhoods. it also says physical force has been used unnecessarily against people with mental disabilities. in ferguson... a chaotic scene... as a car sped through a group of protesters who were blocking the street... at a demonstration in memory of michael brown. witnesses say they heard gunshots ring out as the car sped away. one person was hit and then rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. gun shots were also

morning - for a comment many are interpreting as a threat of violence against hillary clinton. listen to trump's comments... as he repeats a claim that clinton wants to take away the right to own guns. the gun and somehow it ended up in the hands of the tomas uriegas.... and was used to shoot baranowski. the shooting was in july on milwaukee's south side. officer baranowski was shot five times while responding to a domestic violence call police say 20 year old tomas uriegas ambushed baranowski ...he then shot and killed himself. baranowski survived two shots to his arm, two that lodged in his bullet proof vest and another that grazed his forehead. he's now recovering at home starting next summer... you may have to pay to park along the lake front. milwaukee county officials are considering charging parking fees on the streets and in the parking lots. angelica has more in studio on

tonight on whether or not meters should be added along the lakefront. officials say the lake front's beaches... paths... and parks... attract thousands of people each day. so... county executive chris abele wants to charge drivers a dollar an hour to park along streets like lincoln memorial drive... and at locations like the north point parking lot. the revenue will go to help fill the parks departments 2 and a half million dollar budget deficit. tonight's meeting on the proposed budget will take place at the washington par for details. house speaker paul ryan turns his attention to november. he took 84 percent of the vote... compared to just 16 percent for challenger paul nehlen. ryan decided to forgo a traditional election night party for a news conference instead. political reporter theo keith was in janesville with the speaker. if this was little league, the mercy rule would've been applied. this race was over early on

primary challenger, paul nehlen, lining up behind donald trump throughout this primary. saying that he wanted to act like he'd been here before, the speaker wouldn't respond to any of nehlen's attacks from the primary. he also wouldn't criticize donald trump's comments that second amendment people could act against democratic nominee hillary clinton -- saying that he was a little busy on tuesday and hadn't heard the comments.paul ryan says: "i heard about the second amendment quote. it sounds just like a joke gone bad. i hope you should never joke about a think like that. i didn't actually hear the comment, i only heard about those comments." paul ryan says: "we knew we were going to do well. we received the vote that we were hoping and expecting to get all along. and that's just kind of how it. the outcome is exactly what we were hoping for and expecting and desperate candidates do certain things for attention and that's what i think you saw here. " a lot of attention came to this race after sarah palin suggested that ryan could be defeated in this

police say tanner is the latest victim in more than a dozen shootings... involving a child unintentionally being shot in chicago's gang violence. and in texas... a newborn has become the state's first zika-related death. doctors say the mother contracted zika while traveling in el salvador... and passed it on to the baby during pregnancy. her daughter was born with the zika related birth defect "microcephaly" and died a short time later. 97 people in texas have become infected with zika. all of them contracted the virus while trave and speaking of the virus... hillary clinton is calling on congress to end its recess... and address the outbreak happening right now in south florida. congress left for their summer recess last month without passing funding for fighting zika. there are currently 322 confirmed infections in florida - 21 contracted in miami locally... and the rest overseas. the democratic presidential nominee toured a health center in miami yesterday... where she called for a special session. clinton's running mate, virginia senator tim kaine, has already
