no violence in the sherman park neighborhood. we're told no arrests were made last night. sherman park reopen about an hour ago after being shut down last night by the milwaukee county sheriff's office at six o'clock. a city wide curfew for minors was also in effect at ten for a second straight night. officials say both those measures are helping keep the peace. over the weekend...eight businesses were damaged by fire... rebuilding...federal authorities are investigating...offering a reward for information leading to arrests of those involved in the arson deandra corinthios is live at sherman and burleigh with more. it was a quiet night in the sherman park neighborhood...but what remains of this burned up gas station is a reminder of the unrest over the weekend. the a-t-f is offering a 10-thousand dollar reward leading to

the investigation covers a total of eight commercial fires that were set. besides the b-p station...those include an o-reilly auto parts store, a bmo harris bank, a beauty supply store, a supermarket and three liquor stores. three of those fires are near the intersections of 35th, fond du lac, and burleigh. the feds say the are working with the milwaukee fire department, and the state department of justice among other agencies. the owner of the b-p gas station that was not rebuild at the corner of the sherman and burleigh. there had been tensions earlier in the month but this weekend's unrest made the situation much worse. t his attorney says his client now fears for his safety with his future unclear. vincent bobot/attorney "he thought he was part of the neighborhood. now that's been taken away from him." vincent bobot/attorney ""they are going to have a decision to make. does he rebuild the location at the existing location and what does that mean for the future of his

you there has been some law enforcement presence overnight but not to the same level as over the last few days. overall no issues tuesday into wednesday morning. reporting live in the sherman park neighborhood dc fox6 news. meanwhile... city leaders are talking through long-term solutions to end the turmoil in sherman park. angelica's in studio with more on their meeting. at a ceremony for local workers with the northwestern mutal tower yesterday... ...mayor tom barrett described this weekend's violence as the most difficult time he's experienced as mayor. he says bringing more work to families in the north-central part of the city. barrett says: "because i want this city to grow, i want this city to be safe, and i want us to close the gap, the income, inequality gap that exists." the police chief also met with common council members yesterday behind closed doors to brief them on the latest information.

for the second night in a row...tensions in the sherman park neighborhood seem to have cooled off. but there is a lot of rebuilding to do...after angry crowds set fires to businesses over the weekend. federal authorities are offering a reward. da live near sherman and burleigh to explain. the bp gas station...one of eight businesses set on fire... an auto parts store three liquor stores...a beauty supply store...a bmo harris bank and a supermarket. millions of dollars in damage. and there is a 10 thousand dollar reward from the a-t-f for information leading to an arrest or conviction of those responsible for the arson.

in the midst of the unrest... governor scott walker... made several stops at churches in the city. he and lieutenant governor rebecca kleefisch met with people at the greater praise church. they thanked church leaders for their efforts the past few days-- talking to people on the streets about stopping the violence. the governor also met with another group at city brook church. that group is trying to reach out to those who are frustrated and turn to property damage, injuries and looting. "we're certainly going to continue to make sure in the and long term issues about safety are addressed here and across the state and we're also be working as we have before with local officials, community officials on ways we can continue to improve opportunities and education, employment, housing, here and elsewhere" the governor stressed that sherman park is a good neighborhood
