proof of residence too. your photo i-d does not need to have your current address on it...and your name on your id does not have to exactly match your name on the poll list. it will simply be used for the picture valid i-d's include a wisconsin driver's liscence or state i-d card...a military of veteran's i-d...tribal i-d or a certificate of naturalization. if you do not have an acceptable id...you can cast a provisional ballot. the vote will be counted if you come back to the municipal clerk by 4 an acceptable i-d. the polls open at 7 am and close at 8 pm officials already saw record turnout for in person absentee voting. but they're still expecting long lines today...and they've been preparing for weeks. rallying campaign workers in racine. despite being the incumbent, senator johnson trailed by a significant margin as late as as october. but the race tightened up recently, with the latest marquette poll showing former senator feingold with just a point lead. and that means both men know how important every last vote will be on election day. - this is just going to be razor thin. so the attitude that you must ta individual effort - getting those extra votes - is going to literally be the individual effort thats going to save this country. - you either get a senator who is going to vote with working and middle income families to do something about the minimum wage, family leave, pharmaceutical medicine. or you have somebody who is going to keep voting for the big corporations and the out of state interests, its as simple as that. the race has major implications for the national scene as well,

the bodies have been discovered on the property of todd kohlhepp. he has confessed to four murders that happened back in 2003. he was arrested after a missing woman was found alive chained up in a metal container last week. investigators have spent the last several days digging for remains. the bodies have not been identified yet. the medical examiner's office is expected to begin its investigation today. the f-b-i and homeland security are also assisting in the investigation. a new jersey man has been charged in a stabbing ra over the weekend in newark. jeremy arrington allegedly attacked six people in a home -- killing three of them. police posted a picture of him last month on facebook saying he was wanted for shooting and sexually assaulting a friend. one of the stabbing victims had shared that post...and investigators say arrington went to the house on saturday to exact revenge. officials say arrington knew the family he attacked. some do's and don'ts today as you head to the polls.
