they are working under a deal that expired on july 1st. the teacher union so frustrated saying they are going to go on stwriek -- may go on strike -- may gon strike within ten days. -- may go on strike. families can prepare for school on tuesday. the school district is disappointed but working on plans. their 39,000 students a plan b. we'll have more for you starting at 4:30 in the morning. >> thank you chris. this news of a strike comes as the district prepares to go to voters in november to renew a $15 million tax levy. it will extend the tax levy another four years if it passes. it would generate up to $69.7 million a year, 10% of the operating budget.

back in southern michigan and headed to the north east. and for the day tomorrow this unsettled area here. the story of the last seven days. this corridor of moisture that set up from the deep south straight north toward michigan- indiana line. that will continue to flow northward as far as the pipeline of moisture, the showers, the thunderstorms. anything that will help to move that east will come into pl through the day tomorrow and wunz we get into wednesday -- once we get into wednesday and thursday things will break down. an isolated rain chance in the morning for tomorrow. i don't think it's going to be a whole lot to talk about for the morning commute. cloudy skies the rule tomorrow but i think we'll see some sun peaks that will boost the temperatures to the mid 80s. scattered rain and thunderstorm that is bubble up during the heat of the day. that's right on through evening.

that's time of year. after school practices we could have some cancellations because of some lightning issues. the other thing to note is the wind. brisk tomorrow. out of the south west 15 to 20 miles per hour. that's something to keep an eye on. we'll continue to have heavy rain and thunderstorm chances into the evening and then things get sporadic and scattered overnight. let's talk about your window nation forecast. temperatures in the middle 80s for the most part tomorrow. scattered storm and rain chances will increase late ner the day. breezy -- later in the day. breezy conditions will continue. it's not something we have to raise the red flag on. as far as the lake southeast winds at 15 to 20 will be rocking.

the indians lead is still five in the center division. training camp the last day for the public to see practice and josh gordon was on the field. cleared to practice finally. he had a quad injury when he showed up. they believe he will not be ready to play thursday night when they play game two against the atlanta falcons but hue jackson and all are happy right now th gordon getting closer to play. >> it's different than what i was used to. the guys are really close for some reason and i think it's great. >> it was good to watch him move around and catch the ball and be involved with his teammates. he's done a great job and we're working our plan. >> all right now the top draft choice corey coleman bottled excitements was on the practice
