fire commissioner, so many people have been here at jacobi medical checking on those three firefighters who remain hospitalized. and as you said, this was a big fire. it destroyed or severely damaged five houses on east 235th street. one of the injured firefighters, we saw him being rushed to an ambulance and we've learned the fire was caused by children playing with a hot steve. the three firemen, 51-year-old joseph brady suffered a heart attack, there is another one, he nearly lost his arm. 34-year-old firefighter patrick morello was diagnosed with heat stroke. he cut a hole in the roof, but when he came down from the roof, he collapsed outside. >> the conditions these firefighters work under are extremely difficult and extremely life threatening. but they do a good job. today it caught you up with us.
