there. if you're flying out to major airports you should be arriving on time. live look outside i-440 at capital boulevard few more people but still moving pretty good for 5:32 in morning. looking ahead a driver is due in court today after at deaths of three people in raleigh early sunday won't told you about the wreck on highwoods boulevard and popular wood court. it was breaking news yesterday morning. justin quesinberry is live about the crash and suspect. >> reporter: well, russ, recally police say there was just one vehicle involved but inside that vehicle, seven people, three of them died. we want to show you a picture, a mugshot of the suspect. raleigh police say 22-year-old jaciel espino-montes was intoxicated when he overcorrected and struck a light

before rolling that suv. all that while driving 50 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone. he faces three counts of aggravated felony death by motor vehicle, three count of aggravated serious injury and dwi charges. the victims are 21-year-old nelson darinel velazquez, of dudley, 18-year-old tomas rivera jr. of newton grove and 22-year-old pau bautista of benson. a $750,000 bond live in raleigh, justin quesinberry. a fayetteville woman expected to make her first court appearance before a judge today accused trying to drown and smother her 2-year- old nephew. according to court documents 24- year-old regina durr told police she wanted to kill the child. he now faces attempted first degree murder charges and felony child abuse charges. she was left to baby-sit her 2- year-old nephew while family

court documents say she laid on top of the body covered his nose and mouth. however, the little boy is okay. and out of the hospital. right now durham police are looking for the person who shot three children. the victims are ages 16 and 11. one of the 11-year-olds is still in critical condition the shooting happened before 11:30. one man says now his car won't drive. he still feels lucky, though. >> thankful nobody got killed. gut you know we praying for my homey in the hospital now. >> all three gunshot victims were outside when it happened. officers are trying to figure out what led up to the didn't. they have not released any information on suspect but if you have any information give them a call. right now the search is on for two of the suspects accused

the third suspect was shot and killed. fayetteville police are questioning a man. a man was threatening to drive thinks jeep into a home on ryan street. it all started wit an argument between the driver and a resident of the home. poli say eventually another man shot the driver. at last check the driver was in critical condition at the hospital. that's in fayetteville. and fayetteville police are still trying to figure out what happened at the house. sergeant bowe bergdahl. earlier this month they demanded his charges be dropped. bergdahl as you may recall is charged worth desertion and misbehave before the enemy after walking away from his post in afghanistan. last fall mccain implied that if those charges were kiss missed he would insure the case was brought before the senate armed services committee. bergdahl's legal team argues that violates his due process

at fort bragg. a man due in court today. last month nearly two months after the crime authorities arrested 20-year-old jake green now charged worth felony hit and run resulting in serious injury or dearth. investigators say he hit and killed a man walking in front of the wes in elementary school. a man accused himself is due in court. authorities say he exposed himself inside of a book store and at kohl's and then inside of another store in raleigh. the charges are from february, june and july. he's also facing charges for exposing himself at six different locations throughout wake county. he has similar charges from 2013 and 2014. he has self court date for those charges next month. just before 5:37 in the morning. new formation about an attack

after an attempted military coup. at least one dead at a shooting at a pool party ate multimillion dollar home in southern california it happened this weekend ate mansion. neighbors heard gunshots around 9:00 p.m. they found a 30-year-old man shot and killed. neighbors say a couple and their adult son lived there. right now no suspects have been arrest. an 81-year-old man injured in a multicar crash on n ew his wife remains in critical condition following the crash yesterday morning it killed four others including a formerrized to andrew cuomo and a 10-year-old boy died. six others were injured. a woman leaving a concert confused the brake with the gas and hit people on a platform. three people were treated. six others were sent to area hospitals, though. two are currently in serious condition the police are investigating so far no charges have been filed.

roanoke, texas is blocked office train derailed. 25 cars came off the tracks age look at this they plummeted off the bridge. some ended up in a creek. no one was hurt, though. investigators believe the bridge failed and caused the derailment yesterday evening. water finally reseeding in -- receding. homes are damaged and roads are lined with debris. in most neighborhoods people are finding hope and healing the state's lieutenant governor says the relief efforts cannot slow down until everyone is safe and back on their feet. >> we're going to have to really stay the course, stay focused until every house is rebuilt and every life is put back together. >> national guard soldiers have give e of en out more than 4000 meals and 7000 bottles of water. they turned a parking lot into a massive donation site. people lined of to get food,

still at 71 here in raleigh and lillington. 76 in fayetteville. still expecting temperatures to drop through 7:00 a.m. before the sunshine starts to warm us up. speaking of here's your hour by hour forecast. 8:00 this morning, 72. 77 at 10:00 a.m. 82 at lunchtime. temperatures slowly climbing, 86 our afternoon high. a big drop from the 90s we were at yesterday. yesterday we actually hit 94 for an afternoon high. it was with temperatures in the 90s. just not the case today or for the rest of the work week. high pressure is building in behind the front bringing us sunshine, less humidity. cooler temperatures. certainly have to do a lot of watering for your grass, your plants, your flowers throughout the week. so here we are showing you that dry forecast. no rain in sight today. you may start off with a few clouds early this morning. you'll see pretty sunny

those clear skies hang around overnight tonight and as we head throughout our tuesday, it looks like dry conditions will stick around. i want to give you an update on the tropics. we have tropical depression fiona, the update at 5:00 a.m. wind at 35 miles per hour. that's not the only thing we're watching. let's take a look at the bigger picture. we have the next system lined up right behind it. this has a very small chance of strengthening. only about a 10% chance. it's hard to 90% chance of forming into a tropical cyclone. so certainly a lot that we're watcng in the tropics as we head into the week ahead. mid-80s in raleigh and durham. near 90 in fayetteville. then overnight tonight, much, much cooler. hopefully your ac units will get a break this week. we drop to 62 for an overnight low. sunshine continues for tuesday and wednesday. mid- to upper 80s there. thursday back to 88.
