heavier rain later on but the concern is while those temperatures are still right around the freezing mark, so so far in allentown and reading for the most part temperatures above freezing. you see the areas of plume this is well out there near 78 and i-81 where you are get something freezing rain. but we're watching to see if this develops as showers spread through parts of the lehigh valley. we are, however, seeing some showers down in south jersey and delaware and they're a little more significant but those temperatures well above freezing. so, in dover delaware, smyrna get something good rain out there. in millville along 55 and glassboro it's just wet. in hammonton and medford lakes wet also right now. as you look at the temperature profile in the northwest 34 in martins creek, 34 in quakertown, 34 in pottstown and in between the reporting sites it could be hovering right around the freezing mark but it's already 39 in center city. it's a mild day so it's just rain in philadelphia and hammonton it's 37. in dover, delaware, it's 39 degrees. here's a look at how your day is going to go. kind of dreary out there today with periods of rain. by 7:00 a.m., it's 39, by
noon, 42. a little damp in the morning but it looks like the heaviest rain is going to come in the afternoon and evening, maybe 1 o'clock to 6 o'clock and there its when temperatures will be in the mid 40's. at 7 o'clock, 44 degrees with still some rain coming down. when do we see the sun again? i'll have that accuweather answer in a few minutes. matt. >> now we're hanging onto dry conditions around philadelphia we'll take them as long as we can get them, karen. good morning to you. good morning, everybody. dry conditions meant some overnight construction here along 95 by the betsy ross bridge but the crews are long gone now. just watching a little building southbound volume headed towards center city. overall though looking good along 95 and looking good on the vine street expressway this morning. there was no overnight construction here. i don't think they're doing the overnight closures this week, at least it doesn't seem that way. you're good to go along 676. no issues on 76 or 476 the blue route but on 476 the northeast extension there was a car that ran out of gas on the northbound side about 2 miles approaching lansdale. they got him going again so
severing reopened along the northeast extension and on the east-west turnpike westbound in bucks county, overnight construction has cleared so everything is opened there as well. and in fact the turnpike connector bridge would be a better bet right now than the burlington bristol bridge wrapping up an opening there for a northbound ship, so i wouldn't head there at the moment. and if you're headed south as karen said, we're looking live here in tuckahoe atlantic county, yeah, a little bit wet out here at 50 and 49. it is a wet start in spots on this tuesday morning. tam. >> okay, thank you, matt. we are following some breaking news. a bar manager and a security guard had a long running beef. last night things got physical and then they turned deadly. that bar manager is now dead. katherine scott is live at police headquarters with more on exactly what happened here. good morning, katherine. >> reporter: good morning, tam. the bar manager was 44 years old. he was pronounced dead at the hospital. the 28-year-old shooter according to police was the armed uniformed security guard. he remained at the scene and

scene. he was taken into custody by police. police also took possession of his weapon. >> reporter: and again, then he was taken here to police headquarters to be interviewed. there are no surveillance cameras inside that that back room. police also took a customer and a bartender here to police headquarters to interview as well. we're live at police headquarters, katherine scott, channel6 "action news." nydia. >> katherine, thank you. more violence in north philadelphia has a man fighting for his life. police found the victim lying along the 5700 block of locust street just before 11 o'clock last night. he had been shot twice in the head and once in the leg at close range. police hope to review footage from a nearby school security camera for leads on the shooter and a motive. new this morning, wilmington police are investigating yet another shooting just after the city announced a new crime fighting plan. shots rang out at seventh and market about 12:30 and left a man clinging to life. bullets shattered the windows

this of how far you get the mild air. so, right now we have at the surface some freezing air but the mild air is up above 2000, 3,000 feet and that's why we get there freezing rain that's causing it to stick to the surfaces and it's only concern in areas where you're sitting near that freezing mark it's still 34 in quakertown, forty four pottstown but in between some of the reporting sites in some of the low lying areas it may be right around the freezing mark and that's enough to trigger some ice and that's why we're worried about that. in south jersey we've got no problems here, in philadelphia we have temperatures in the upper 30's like cinnaminson, 39 and dover delaware. satellite6 and action radar showing it's light moving in for the morning commute. that heavier rain comes in later on in the afternoon and as this area of low pressure drags to the north and east, it's going to bring some milder air our way and you'll see the difference with the temperatures. but future tracker showing at 6 o'clock in the morning, could still see had that some icing here in the lehigh valley. then it's just kind of damp and dreary for much of the day. later in there afternoon this is the look at 1:30, start to
