warmup for the weekend that's all coming up. >> reporter: the big story is coming from warrington bucks county. we have an overturned tanker between bristol road and street road. they have a fuel spill. they have a tanker uprighted they have to deal with the mess before reopening it. in the meantime, easton road is shut down in warrington bucks county, use 309 to get around that problem right now. let's go live on the schuylkill expressway past 202 eastbound traffic heading toward the blue route, eastbound we had an accident in the area, all lanes blocked for over an hour, it's clear and open and looking dry. the sun and the wind helped to dry out most of the roads. watch for a slick spot or two, more especially if you travel north of the city. >> let's get back to the breaking story you mentioned. dozens were evacuated from their home when a tanker truck

crashed, thousands of gallons of fuel spilled along route 611 in warrington. katherine scott is live on the scene. >> reporter: matt, i spoke to the fire chief he said a hundred residents were evacuated as a precaution. at 2:00 a.m. they were allowed to return home. they are trying to clear the scene and they trying to upright the tanker that overturned and of course, there was a subsequent fuel spill. this happened at route 611 and oxford drive. a driver of the pick up truck in the southbound lanes lost control and crossed over to the northbound lanes, that's when the pick up was hit by a tanker truck which was carrying gasoline. one of the driver sustained minor injuries, the tanker truck

leaked 4,000 gallons of fuel, it went into a storm sewer, a contractor connected to the tanker was called in for the cleanup. residents were warned there might be a lingering smell of gas in the air until the cleanup is over. red cross had a temporary shelter set up at an elementary school. they were allowed to return home at 2:30 a.m. this morning. they are hoping to get the road open for the morning rush. the target time is at 6:00 a.m., we'll see how the cleanup progresses. katherine scott channel 6 "action news." >> thank you for that katherine. breaking this morning, two women rescued from an armed home invasion by police in philadelphia. annie mccormick is live on the scene in southwest philadelphia,

good morning, annie. >> reporter: good morning, tamala, the suspects are in custody, the victims are being interviewed by police so they get a better understanding about what happened. it was a violent home invasion, if neighbors had not noticed that something was off and police responded when they did, the two women would not have been rescued. 2 men burst into the home and tied up two women in their 0s and neighbors heard screams and called 911. police saw a mantua map. a man with a map. the victim described to police what first happened. >> she was in the kitchen cooking in the rear of the home for her son that comes home at

2:00 a.m. they kicked through the door and put a knife to her throat and started asking where the money was, she take her upstairs, she started screaming, they punched her in the face, they threatened to kill her and tied her you happen and tied a piece of rope around her neck, also. >> reporter: police say the victims are okay, the three men were armed two with a gun, one with a knife. police say they are investigating this, it's still early, there have been a string of home invasions targeting people in the asian community who owns businesses. the two women do not own the business, but her son works in a restaurant and they seeing if there's any connection there. if you have any information contact police, 215-546-tips. and channel 6 "action news." an 18-year-old man was shot

and killed as he sat inside his own home in west oak lane around 11:45 p.m. the gunman opened fire through the window and the front door. the man ran to a neighbor's house and collapsed. he was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. investigators in the lehigh valley want to know if an argument inside a shopping mall led to a deadly hit-and-run. an 18-year-old was struck and killed on 248 in palmer township the driver took off. hailey and a friend were at the palmer park mall earlier in the evening. mall security officers asked them to leave because the two were arguing. the hit-and-run happened after that. no charges have been filed, police would not confirm if they have anyone in custody. "action news" obtained

surveillance video of suspected serial robbers. the video shows the pair holding up a subway restaurant in philadelphia. police believe they hit four pharmacies in the city. the senate confirmed president trump's pick for health and human services. tom price has been pushing to dismantle the affordable care act. meantime, the federal appeals court refused to reinstate the travel ban on seven nations. moments after the ruling the president tweeted in all caps, see you in court adding that the security of our nation is at stake. the trump administration could take the case to the supreme court or file a motion with the same appeals court to reconsider. president trump signed three more executive orders yesterday, jeff sessions has
