ross bridge web. a man is dead following a wild scene in the olney section overnight. after his friend was shot, his friend tried to chase down the homeowner. the suspect ended up in a scuffle with a homeowner. katherine scott is live to tell us about the rest. >> reporter: we spoke to the family and friends of the homicide victim, howard white a disabled military vet who went back to work as a private contractor he was back for a month and a half when this happened. this is an extensive crime scene they need here for hours. this happened shortly before 1:00 a.m. his family said howard noticed a man casing a nearby bar, he it was trying to defuse the situation telling him to walk away. he was shot twice.

officers on patrol herd gunshots police responded. they saw white on the street citizen suspect flee. the victim's friend who has a permit to carry chased the suspect. he complied with police to drop his weapons. other officers chased the suspect. the suspect ended up breaking into a rear door of a house on the 6100 block of north 6th street. the suspect got into a struggle with the homeowner and his adult son. the owner sustained injuries to his head and face and taken to the hospital. the suspect was cut and bruised in the struggle and taken to the hospital in police custody. >> it turns out that the mall who forced his way into the home on 6th street was positively

identified as firing several shots that caused the death of a 46-year-old male who was killed at 5th and spencer. >> reporter: and back here live investigators remain on the scene gathering evidence there are a number of witnesses they were taken to homicide to be interviewed. live in olney. katherine scott which -- channe6 "action news." >> reporter: new information this morning about this crash in west goshen township chester county. the accident may have been caused by road rage. one person was killed after a black sedan crashed along southbound route 100 along 202 yesterday evening. police are looking for a red pick up truck that was seen fleeing the crash. two female rob are who held up two tours -- tour internal revenue internal

revenue -- tourist maybe involved in other robberies, as well. jeanette reyes has more. >> reporter: good morning, tam, police are intensifying the search for two women and a third man they are saying involved in a string of robberies. one of their victims an elderly woman from ecuador and the biggest concern they are becoming more aggressive. authorities are growing increasingly concerned about a trio of robbers suspected of being behind five incidents. three in upper darby and two in philadelphia. >> obviously they have been gotten more aggression irving over the few days they have been out here. >> reporter: police say the suspects believed to be two women and a man held up a domino's along race street they stole his vehicle.

they used that vehicle on in a robbery on the unit block of 10th street. the grandmother visiting from act door. >> the woman take the bag, so the woman take out a gun and look at her and punched her. >> reporter: the hyundai was crashed on june 24th north 62nd and found with no occupants inside. two days later a domino's driver was robbed and his volvo was stolen. >> people are trying to make a few dollars along with cab drivers trying to make a living are in fear of these individuals create crime in the communities and lay fear on everybody. >> reporter: and police say the women got away with $700 from the elderly victim. they are hoping someone will recognize the suspects and report them to police before
