it arrives. >> let's talk about that go over to david murphy and karen rogers who has traffic, good morning. >> reporter: we didn't get a lot of rain yesterday, but nonetheless it could be wet at any time. >> reporter: and we have stuff west of philadelphia, especially out in lancaster county. there's cloud cover around and low lying clouds and fog in spots. we'll talk about that in a moment. let's give you storm tracker 6 live double scan's view of that rain. right now it's coming through western lancaster county and gettysburg and the other side of baltimore. it's tracking north with a slight slide to the east. berks county and western chester picks up some of that. most of what i'm looking at is not all that stronger. thundershowers afternoon. 68 in allentown 69 in trenton. 67 in wilmington. 72 currently in cape may. a little bit humid, but pretty mild. as we go through the day, 68 degrees by 7:00 a.m.

of they have lots of construction crews westbound near the walt whitman bridge that cleared. web between the blue route and the turnpike they have construction in the process of clearing there, as well. the lights have been on flash at city avenue at monument drive be careful as you cross the intersection that's been a problem since yesterday. dave mentioned the fog we have 7-mile an hour visibility at philadelphia international. they have reduced speeds on all area bridges, 35 miles per hour. take it easy on the bridges drivel up on over the fog. schuylkill expressway light volume no construction right now, no construction scheduled this week, good to go, most of the area roads looking good. >> a group of men sitting outside in north philadelphia became the victims of a drive-by shooting. four men are hospitalized on second street near lippencot street before 10:00 p.m.

police arrived on the scene and found four victims including a man who was shot in the chest. ed injuries were life threatening. the three others suffered gunshots to their arms and will survive. the shooter or shooters were in a white suv. police are investigating another shooting that injured a man in the logan section. the gunfire broke out around the same time as the previous shooting before 10:00 p.m. on the 4900 block of north hutchinson street. the 22-year-old victim was shot in the back of his head. he was taken to einstein in critical condition. there have not been any arrests. in just a few hours president trump will travel to south florida to see for himself, the destruction caused by hurricane irma. 25 people died including 8 elderly people who died when

their nursing home lost air-conditioning. katherine scott is live from the satellite center with the efforts needed to help. >> reporter: the need is urgent. president trump is scheduled to visit florida making stops in naples and fort meyers to take a closer look at the hurricane damage. >> there's nothing left. >> reporter: on st. john the smallest of the u.s. virgin islands, hurricane irma wiped out nearly 30 square miles of island. most of the residents lost what little they had and no means to we build without outside help. in saint thomas, those who live there are desperate. >> it's hard to get food and water and gas it took three hours to get ice. the mosquitoes, i'm worried about diseases. i don't know if i can do it.

>> search-and-rescue teams are out in the florida keys forcing their ways inside homes looking for anyone trapped. cadaver dogs were dispatched as crews look for signs of people who may have stayed throughout the storm. >> something like this is shuttered up somebody could have rode the storm out there in there. >> reporter: in florida, investigators are looking into the death of 8 nursing home residents. the air condition system lost power after irma struck on sunday. first responders found multiple people in distress. three people were found dead in the nursing home. five more died at the hospital. portable ac units are being used, but city officials say the facility was excessively hot. 158 patients were evacuated to nearby hospitals. >> most were treated for

respiratory distress and heat related issues. >> reporter: the first lady and vice president is expected to be in florida. the vice president is expected to make a trip to the u.s. virgin islands that trip could happen as early as next week. a man is recovering from being hit by a pick up truck in delaware. he have was struck along west north pike in stanton, last night. doctors are treating him for serious injuries. the driver remained at the scene. state police are investigating whether they charges are war warranted. police released a surveillance video of a attempted robbery in west philadelphia. the video shows suspected gun woman and her accomplice. the woman confronts hit ton and shoots him in the stomach.
