5:00 a.m. on this friday, november 4 here's what we're following on "action news." >> a man and woman are shot to death inside an suv, police are trying to find who pulled the trigger. >> a camden county police officer is recovering from a gunshot wound while his colleagues in blue head back to the neighborhood the scene of the violent struggle. >> it's cooler out there, but we're warming up as the day goes on, does last for the weekend. >> talk about being in the fog, we said november 4. it's the 3. >> reporter: i can't believe it's november. we're easing into it. >> reporter: it doesn't feel like november this morning and it won't this afternoon, either. let's get you to the weather center. we have sunshine early and overall today we'll have a clouds and sun mix. temperatures are mild, 60 degrees in allentown andy trenton. 56 in philadelphia. 62 in beach haven.

52 in millville. we go through the day it will be similar to yesterday in terms of of the temperature. we'll pop into the 70s, noon, 71 degrees. 3:00 p.m., that's the high, 75. 5:00 p.m., 73 degrees. by 7:00 p.m. we're quickly marching down down to 67 degrees. on the bus stop mild conditions we may slip to 65 in philadelphia. maybe higher than that on the bus stop and 52 in the suburbs. once again for the second straight morning we have an issue with fog. largely in south jersey, we've seen big time improvement in the last half-hour around millville. wildwood, atlantic city, up to toms river all the areas we've seen the gray, including trenton half mile visibility. wilmington improved a little bit. be careful out there, it's deer mating season, the deer coming closer to the roads. there's a cool down for the weekend.

a little bit of rain for part of the region. >> reporter: i love how you talk about mating season during the weather. it's good. all right, this is the schuylkill expressway eastbound at 30th street, the construction has cleared. looking good nice and on time. eastbound traffic is close once again starting on monday, watch for this overnight closures, not for the weekend. we have good news in northern delaware, they were blocking two lanes on 495 eastbound they cleared, one day they stayed out to 10:00 a.m., they just cleared already, nice and early. traffic will be fine on 495. we have seen big delays during the week this week with the on going construction. 42 is looking good. we're watching for the fog. you can see it in the distance on 42 here and there as you travel through the area. not seeing a major problem with fog. 42 and 544 and the black horse pike we have overnight construction blocking two lanes this morning, those crews hard

at work. >> developing this morning a grizzly find on port richmond street two people shot to death and now the hunt is going on for their killers. katherine scott is live at police headquarters with the latest. >> reporter: the motive is under investigation. at this point police have not ruled out the possibility that could have been an murder suicide, but they are looking for more information they are looking for tips. let's go to video from the scene in port richmond, police are there for hours overnight gathering evidence talking to people trying to figure out more about what happened. shortly after 10:00 p.m., police were called out to the 3500 block of amber street. two shooting victims had been found inside a honda suv. a woman in the driver seat a man in the front passenger seat both shot in the head and pronounced at the scene. police found a semi automatic handgun inside the vehicle. they don't have description of the suspect and police are trying to determine the motive.

>> we didn't find any bullet holes in the vehicle, however, all four of the vehicle door windows are down. so, there's no broken glass. at this time we are not certain of the motive. >> at this point police are looking for surveillance footage they are hoping to find some that can help in the investigation. live at police headquarters, katherine scott channel 6 "action news." matt. >> thank you katherine. a camden county police officer continues to recover from being shot at close range during a struggle with the suspect. the rooky officer, patrick owe had owe -- o' hanlan was shot in the leg. other officers responded to the scene and helped place a tourniquet on him possibly saving his life. while he remains in the hospital, his fellow officers returned to the neighborhood

where the shooting happened as a way to bring the community together. >> rather than going out there with a strong show of enforcement we're out there coalescing with the community. they heard the gunshot last night, too, they saw a tremendous response with lights and sirens. police arrested 19-year-old and charged him with attempted murder. he has three fell convictions. a man tried to lure a ten-year-old girl after she got off the school bus yesterday afternoon. she ran away. the suspect is described as a man in his 20s with an indian accent. he was driving a silver does an with a square white sticker in the rear window. philadelphia police say a man pretending to be a verizon worker sexually assaulted a teenager. man was around on monday on mull berry street in frankford.
