meteorologist, melissa magee, is at the big board with the details from accuweather. >> hi there rick, we issued the accuweather alert because of the snow that is falling, a minor snowfall event across the region and high impact as far as the timing in time for the afternoon and evening ride home. a winter weather advisory for the i-95 corridor and for south jersey and delaware, it starts at 1:00 today and lasting through 9:00 this evening, we are anticipating several inches of snowfall. right now in the city 28 degrees and colder air draining southward from the north and 17 in the poconos and 4 in allentown and lancaster 28 and 28 degrees in atlantic city. here is stormtracker 6 live double scan radar 3-d you see the snow start to blossom from the southwest to the northeast. and it continues to do so as we go throughout the rest of today. future tracker 6 letting you know by 4:00 this afternoon we

fraternity brothers have now been charged and many facing alligations from reckless endangerment to manslaughter and the students led the investigators to believe that the security camera in the basement was not working but instead the members of the fraternity deleted the video and the now recovered video shows the brothers giving piazza 18 drinks in less than 90 minutes. >> talk to your children and tell them not to get involved in this nonsense and the crack down growing across the country and an alleged hazing incident at the university of houston led to the indictment of an entire fraternity. and suspending all fraternity events. anding a branch.

their next meal is coming from. that is why the convoy of toyota tundras are so important. 75 trucks in all. all packed with pallets of food that will help feed our neighbors facing hunger as the trucks roll in they empty the beds of some 70 tons of food and it's the 11th year that the tri-state toyota dealers helped to put the drive in food drive. >> they put oil in their home owe heat their home or feed their kids. >> and this allows philabundance to serve 350,000 meals around philadelphia. and while this event is a huge help she encourages the public to help in other ways. >> volunteering and donate. for everyone dollar we can donate two meals to people in

construction van there. they tried to grab tools but there was a worker inside and the construction worker jumped on the forklifts blocking the robbers from getting away. mothers giving a c-section called the gentle c, it could change the experience for the mother and baby. the mother can see the baby the moment the the baby is born. and keep chat to minimum so mom and dad can hear the first cry. >> the gentle c is the same technique but we try to corporate mom in the same process. >> it was amazing and withes first i don't remember meeting him for the first time and this was totally different.

sixers star ben simmons was a huge off the court. as he joined special families on a shopping spree at target in philadelphia. and simmons picked up the tab. the nonprofit unity with community helped them fine the families that need the the most assistance. >> it's hard to keep up with bills and provide christmas for him. i didn't know how i was going to

around and it will only be a matter of time before the moisture makes its way down to the lower levels of the atmosphere and the snow continues to fall. satellite 6 along with action radar it's dry and quiet across much of our region right now wren tracking the snow that will continue to work its way into the region so we'll take a look at the call from accuweather for the rest of today. it's mostly cloudy and we do have snow that will continue as we go through the rest of afternoon and evening hours. the high temperature today coming in at 32 and most spots stay below freezing as we go throughout the rest of tonight. and the snow is ending by about 6:00, 7:00 tonight and still cold. 26 degrees is the overnight low with the south southwesterly winter with winds of 6 to 18 miles per hour. we are timing out the precip and dry now in most spots and this continues into the afternoon. so 4:00 today. we have the snow developing across the area. and i do think there will be a ban that sets up south and east

of philadelphia. by 8:00 the moisture is starting to push offshore and the winter weather advisory we have up starts at 1:00 and ends at 9:00 in the evening. so this is a short duration event we are tracking as the snow developing. expected snowfall a coating and inch for the neighbors to the northern and west. a coat and in lancaster and reading and philadelphia close toward 1 to 2 inches of snowfall and 1 to 3 inches in new jersey and delaware but a heavier band of precipitation of snowfall that moves into just to the east of philadelphia down across central sections and interior portions of south jersey through the rest of today. key time, with our accuweather alert. 1:00 through 7:00. bad timing for the evening rush than ride home. temperatures are near freezing so what falls sticks on the ground quickly and reduces the visibility in much of the area,
