8th and main street. the disabled vehicle gravel pike cleared out. the one in west conshohocken has not cleared out, the truck off to the side, madson ford road at front street. they have the flares set up blocking the left lane. watch out for that along madson ford. creek road, belmawr, camden county, headlights coming northbound toward the walt whitman bridge. a gathering crowd no delays yet. coming southbound off the bridge there's an object on the road along 42 southbound. >> can you even stand it? we're just two days away from the nfc championship game if the eagles beat the vikings on sunday, they go to their super bowl since 2005. jeanette reyes is live at lincoln financial field. jennette, we want our soup! >> reporter: [laughter], you know, matt, i'm rocking my green i'm all excited, you sound

really excited. police and septa police are preparing for the kind of excitement that comes with eagles fans. >> this is the first time that they need in it for a long time. >> reporter: the eagles nfc championship game is less than 72 hours away and the excitement is palpable. fans could barely contain themselves while meeting running back in south philadelphia thursday evening. >> we want them to get as loud as they can throughout the whole game. >> reporter: showing their enthusiasm for the beloved eagles has never been a problem for philadelphians. that's why officials want businesses to be prepared for possible ruckus fans on sunday. police will be particularly focused on the frankford and cottman intersection mayfair where birds fans have long been known for gathering for sports

celebrations. an advisory was sent out to businesses urging them to have grates locked up and secured and remove trash cans and flower pots and sell alcohol beverages in plastic containers and have any surveillance cameras on and recording this weekend. you will see an increased police presence by septa they are reminding customers they will be enforcing the open container fine this weekend and their cameras will be rolling. so, just making sure that everybody behaves this weekend, we have a good history of that, i think we'll be okay. >> there's always one, jennette, we'll see. if you want to go to the game, think about taking septa they are offering a special discounted pass for fans who take the broad street line to the nfc championship game. they are adding a dozen septa trains to the schedule. the pass goes on sale today it

"action news" is your source for eagles coverage this weekend. it kicks off tonight with the playoff preview party at 7:00. we'll be broadcasting live from chickee and pete's in south philadelphia we'll have live team coverage all weekend. we have newer information on a shooting in the port richmond section. 21-year-old victim who was shot 8 times remains in critical condition. investigators have a man in custody. the shooting happened on the 3600 block of frankford avenue last night. police rushed the victim to temple hospital. witnesses stay they saw two men running from the scene. police are still looking for the weapon. police have across pennsylvania honored a fallen deputy marshall during a procession to the harrisburg funeral home. officers and firefighters lined the road giving the hearse a salute. deputy christopher hill was killed serving a warrant in

harrisburg. kevin sturges fired from the second floor. officers returned fire killing him. governor tom wolf ordered state flags to fly at half staff in hill's honor. a police officer in berks county has surrendered to face charges in connection with to a hit-and-run. doug brown admitted he ran away from the crash scene. he reported to the insurance company that the car was stolen. scrnl -- police have suspended him until the outcome of the case. philadelphia has learned it's a concerned in the amazon h2 sweep stays. stacey dellacott is live in time

chester township police say he was spotted on i-95 driving a stolen hummer. an officer tried to pull him over and caused a state trooper to crash in tinicum township. the trooper was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. the vehicle became stuck on csx tracks along columbus boulevard in south philadelphia. they tried to outrun officers and were arrested nearby. >> why did you do it, you put people's lives in danger? >> my life was in danger. >> come see me i'll give you a statement and tell you the truth. >> reporter: police say they discovered needle for illicit drug use inside the hummer. congress has until midnight tonight to avoid a shut down. with bitter partisan politics in play it's not sure they will make the deadline. house passed a short bill senate

blue it's beautiful. >> reporter: not so beautiful on the schuylkill expressway, up to 22 minutes quickly on the rise of the eastbound side of 76. there goes the penndot truck down the shoulder on the eastbound side heading toward an accident scene near gladwyn. there are blockages, you can see how slowly the eastbound traffic is moving. the accident just happened a few minutes ago, but already the delay is back to conshohocken on the eastbound side coming in through the accident scene by gladwyn. so you may want to start to think alternates to the schuylkill expressway eastbound like register pike, maybe use route 23, conshohocken state road or route 30 watch out there's a crash along lancaster satisfied in ardmore. speeds are dropping on i-95, 24-mile an hour on the southbound side from bridge into girard. this is the vine street expressway coming away from i-95 heading toward the schuylkill
