outside the linc tonight. >> reporter: yes, sarah fans are pumped they are out here in force, and they are ready to go, soaring under dogs, you can see that. we are in lot k, and this is one of the more tame of the lots when it comes to tailgating. this opened up at 1:00. other fans, had 6:00 in the morning. we have been all around the stadium and here's what we saw earlier. >> e-a-g-l-e-s eagles. >> yeah. >> e-a-g-l-e-s eagles. >> reporter: some of these tailgate operations are legitimate. we were at one operation they had a whole set up, they have the tv, satellite, they had, seats from the vet inside of the rv, everyone out here so excited about this football game, of course, the grills are fired up but as each minute tics away close tore kick off, fans are anticipating a great victory by the bird. >> so excited. it has been a long time, and

can barely here you. eagles fans are loud and proud we are up here on the second floor catwalk, the crowd down below, packed crowd, enthusiastic one here. some fans came to eat before going to the game at the linc and some fans are staying here at chickie and pete's for duration. chickie's employees say tables have been sold out and reserved since friday, and extra security has been brought in just in case things get rowdy but they are looking foreign news yas particular crowd here. is there still room at the bar but it is standing room only, first come, first serve, but we spoke to some eagles fans about this under dog status, that has inspired, this city. >> i love it. it is right with the personality of this team. we're always considered the under dog. we're disrespected a lot. i'm tired have. let's go. i'm ready. we need to get agholor in the game early, often. >> we have a chip on our solder. it is a rocky balboa mentality that is what this city is about. we are about being the under

dog and about rising up and handling our business. >> reporter: surprising number of vikings fans here are here too from out of town some came to eat before the game and they are taking a ripping from eagles fans but eagles fans have done their best to drawn them out here at chickie and pete's before the big game. live from south philadelphia trish hartman for channel six "action news". >> proud eagle moment. meanwhile police in philadelphia say they have tried to think of everything, to keep the city safe, secure from overzealous eagles fans. they have greased light poles in the city. the action cam on the scene here with the police department employees in south philadelphia, with a big cab of crisco applying to it metal utility poles. fans have climbed poles in the past putting them self in real danger. poles were greased in center city at five-points intersection in the northeast. count down continues from south philadelphia now, "action news" reporter dan cuellar is live now from broad

melissa magee is standing by with your accu weather game time forecast. let's begin with chad pradelli live outside of the linc, chad >> reporter: hey, sarah game time about an hour away, the sea of green, now making its way, into lincoln financial field, these fans, are pumped. some of these people have been tailgating since 6:00 in the morning. we're here, this lot k, opened up at 1:00 p.m. we were out and about all around the area earlier today, here's what we saw, fans have been having a fantastic time. they have been having the grills out. food has been fired up. the flags have been out. the dogmas accounts are on. these fans are ready for this game. this is the last tailgate of the year, at least here at lincoln financial field and steaks are high, a trip to the super bowl and we were at one tailgate here putting on a impressive show and they were showing us the grills and what they were firing up. >> you guys have a great
