are you excited about this. i'm excited about this, and we've got green on the radar for this. >> reporter: down the shore there's just a little bit of rain leftover on storm tracker 6 live double scan it's light, this is the same stuff we've had through most of the region yesterday. it did get down by the shore last night and some of it is holding on. it's mostly in cape may county and areas south of dover, delaware. a little bit of steadier rain highlighted in darker shades of green coming across the bay right now. it's should not be too much longer and it's light. 44 degrees in philadelphia. 35 in allentown and reading, a cold start in the northern and western suburbs. 42 in trenton, 42 in cape may and millville, new jersey. as we go through the afternoon we're looking at a mild day, 40 degrees, the temperature

dipping by 8:00 a.m. 42 by 10:00 a.m. the clouds are pretty much in place, maybe we'll see a sunny break or ear -- here or there, but mostly cloud. we get up to 47 before falling to 42 by 6:00. notice how it's dry today as we go into the overnight hours and toward dawn there's snow that will be arriving. some of it will clip the shore with a coastal system. this is light accumulation a coating to an inch or two, creek, but a slippery morning commute is possible tomorrow. we'll have more on that coming up. another shot of precipitation later in the week, karen. >> reporter: yea! this is the schuylkill expressway at spring garden where traffic is moving okay right now, watch for that. no big deal on the schuylkill expressway. that's eastbound traffic heading toward center city. we have an early morning accident in upper frederick township on big road.

look for crews on the scene with the accident. if you're traveling on the northeast extension between quakertown and lehigh valley, we see the green traffic flow in the area, construction in the area, something to watch for. live in new jersey, 42 coming from coming up from deptford not too bad. construction blocked mercer county bear tavern road. construction, but nothing major. super bowl is set. the so-called underdog eagles and the defending champion patriots face the blitz of the press tonight, eagles will face football an nonfootball issues from people around the world.
