Since December 2009, The Center for the Study of Art, Architecture, History & Nature (C-SAAHN) has sponsored the Tuesday 'IMAGINE' Noon-Hour Lecture/Discussion Series at the Downtown Buffalo & Erie County Central Public Library. This is the 99th C-SAAHN 'IMAGINE' Lecture. The first fifty in the "IMAGINE' Series (Dec. 2009 - Dec. 2011) were titled, "IMAGINE Buffalo Niagara in the 21st Century."
The speaker is Karen Wallace, Director, Center for Science Learning, Buffalo Museum of Science and the title is "IMAGINE Exploring Nature: Celebrating Milestones of Science and Imagination." This is the first presentation in this IMAGINE themed series.
C-SAAHN was created as the vehicle for exploring the Buffalo-Chautauqua Idea and is developing both "Cultural-based" and "Nature-based Learning at Buffalo Niagara" on a new additional Website: ImagineLifelongLearning.com.
Starting in 2013 there are eight IMAGINE Series: "IMAGINE The Arts as a Universal Language: In Pursuit of Happiness" "IMAGINE The Arts as Our Universal Language: Why The Arts Matter" "IMAGINE Exploring Nature: Celebrating Milestones of Science and Imagination" "IMAGINE a Healthy & Wealthy Buffalo Niagara Region: The Art of Investing - Locally" "IMAGINE Buffalo Niagara as a Bi-National Cultural Center: Appreciating Buildings, History & Nature" "IMAGINE The War of 1812: Appreciating Peace on the Niagara Frontier" "IMAGINE Lifelong Learning & Buffalo Niagara as a Bi-National Cultural Center" "IMAGINE a Healthy & Wealthy Buffalo Niagara Region: Celebrating 'The Year of the City'@ Buffalo State College"
