that release in its tracks. it's the latest legal chapter in a murder case that has captivated the country.casey geraldo is live outside the prison in portage, wisconsin. after more than a decade behind bars for murder and other charges related to the 2005 death of teresa halbach., brendan dassey could walk out of this prison today. a federal magistrate issued the order, saying "dassey is arguly position than the ordinary habeas petitioner"his attorneys asked for dassey's release after the federal court overturned his conviction... they say this was an involuntary confession made in 2006... made as a result "various assertions and assurances the investigators made to dassey amounted to false promises that he would not be punished."the court feels "without dassey's march 1, 2006 confession, retrial, reconnection, and re-

wikileaks founder julian assange was questioned today about allegations concerning possible sex crimes committed in sweden six years ago. assange was questioned at the ecuadorian embassy in london

than four years ago.swedish officials are seeking information related to allegations of serious sex crimes made by two swedish women he met in 20-10.assange has not been indicted and has denied the allegations. a visitation is being held today for a slain pennsylvania police members are saying goodbye to officer scott bashioum ahead of his funeral on wednesday.he was killed in an ambush-style attack while responding to a domestic dispute on thursday. the suspect also killed bashioum's partner before turning the gun on himself. a skywest airline pilot arrested last month on suspicion of being drunk appeared in court today. russell duszak was taken into custody on october 26th at rapid city regional airport in south dakota after it was reported he smelled of alcohol. the 38-year-old was placed on administrative leave and removed from flying duties during the investigation.if convicted, duszak could spend up to a year in jail and face

now at 4:30 - preparing for winter-- it may be nice outside now-- but snow is just around the corner. weather... but this week marks "winter awareness week" here in wisconsin. emergency officials want drivers to prep their cars for the coming months. pete zervakis explains how. it doesn't feel like it today but snow is coming and this winter awareness week is the time to make sure you're prepared for its arrival it happens every year in wisconsin. but deputy jennifer wallschlaeger says some drivers will have to re- acclimate to winter
