over the last few weeks...criminals have been targeting shoppers at the publix stores in plant city...by stealing their wallets right out of the cart. here's a look at the culprits police say have been preying on innocent shoppers. officials say between october 28th and november 13th, these two women and this man would come into the store and casually strike up a conversation with someone they felt would be an easy target. once they had the shopper distracted...just like that, one of the thieves would steal the victim's wallet right out of the cart. it's very important advice to keep in mind

to let your guard down. but you've got to look out for your safety at all times...especially this time of year around the holidays when there might be more crooks out looking to take advantage of you. police here in plant city also have some advice for extended families and adult loved ones to help protect the elderly. we'll talk about that coming up at 5:30. back to you. president-elect donald trump continues to put together his administration with president-elect mike pence. mr. trump broke with tradition tuesday night by leaving trump tower without his press pool to have dinner with his family. moments later he took to social media maintaining his transition is not in disarray. he sent out this tweet calling his transition to the white house -quote- "very organized". among those seen in the building, trump's former rival, ted cruz, alabama senator jeff sessions, and steve mnuchin -- the front runner for treasury secretary.

planning on one down the road. it's that time of year many people in the bay area get excited for. the three sisters wildlife refuge in crystal river is officially back open. according to their website, the restoration work is all done. crews have been working to restore habitats, including the highly visited manatee one. you may remember three sisters springs is where a lot of manatees go to every year during the winter months. crystal river is the only place in the world where you can legally swim with manatees. this is one of thosor you feel good this morning. 19 kids in hillsborough county now have forever homes. they were all adopted on tuesday. november is national adoption month. eckerd kids organization, whose goal is to place children in forever homes, helped host the adoption ceremonies at the courthouse. get this 60 more children are awaiting adoption in hillsborough county alone. 41 of those kids are between the ages of 13-17. it's about to get a little easier to get your sweets in hyde

sprinkles, the already popular cupcake shop, will open its cupcake a- t-m. we've been telling you about its plans to open up the a-t-m for a few months now. 10 news was given a quick look behind the scenes at how it all works. inside the a-t-m is a robotic arm, after you choose the cupcake you want, you swipe your credit card to pay. the arm then pulls the boxed cupcake and puts it gently in the bin. then the a-t-m opens. it costs 50 cents more than the $3.75 cupcake you can get in the bakery. the extra costs covers the a-t-m packaging fee. a lot of you have been posting about whether you'll use the cupcake a-t-m on our facebook page. molly writes in part, "absolutely, positively! it's great for when you want just a small piece of cake and don't have to buy an entire cake then proceed

challenge, you get a group together, strike a pose, then stay still as the camera moves through a scene. it's like a scene frozen in time, walking through a picture. it all started around halloween with these students at a jacksonville high school, using the hashtag mannequin challenge. then other schools joined in. many are set to the song "black beatles," by rap duo rae sremmurd. then, the challeng exploded. even one of the real beatles, paul mccartney, did his version. from sports teams, to the white house, everyone seems to be doing this craze. even young kids joined in on the challenge. look at this group of preschoolers in new jersey! they struggled a little bit. they earn the challenge's most adorable. you probably seen more celebrities, sports teams and other organizations doing it as well. we even got our morning team to try

it's not even thanksgiving yet, but the white house is already getting ready for christmas. out of all the trees in the u-s, one from the whispering pines tree farm in wisconsin will be the official white house christmas tree this year. white house strs balsam fir mix back in september. it was cut down on tuesday. the tree farmer is pretty excited about having one of his trees in the white house blue room. in a few days, the tree will start to make its way to washington d-c. by the way this will be president obama and his family's last holiday in the white house before president elect
