it happened monday afternoon in chattanooga, tennessee as the bus was carrying 35 students from a local elementary school. 10news reporter emerald morrow is on top of this story. emerald, this is a parent's nightmare. it's forcing officials to take a closer look at school bus safety. yeah, the governor of tennessee said once they are able to take care of all the families in this situation, this could force them to take a harder look at what can be done to improve school bus safety...even though numbers show across the nation, to get your kids around. according to our partners at usa today, less than one percent of all crashes nationwide involve school buses. that might be hard to believe after seeing this, though. this is the aftermath of yesterday's accident that stole far too many precious lives and left children and families shaken. officials say the school bus was the only vehicle involved, and there is no real reason at this point to believe there was anything else going on along the road that would have caused

writing a traffic ticket. sunday's shooting was just one of several attacks against law enforcement over the weekend. this is a really bizarre story. a pinellas teacher is suing the city of tarpon springs after one of the toilets at her school, exploded! anne burson was hurt when a piece of porcelain tore into her leg at tarpon springs fundamental elementary school. this happened back in 2012 but details weren't made public until a lawsuit was filed this month in pinellas county. burson says she was sent to the hospital and her she blames a city crew working on water lines outside the school for not warning district administrators of the potential problem. a second toilet at the school exploded earlier in the day. but no one was injured in that incident. burson has since retired as the school's media specialist. she's suing the city for 15-thousand dollars. the city would not comment on the case. if you're shopping for kids this

a dog helps make a big bust. this morning, a man is in jail after a k-9 officer from pueblo, colorado sniffed out cocaine during a traffic stop. police say k-9 officer widget detected the drugs while doing an open air sniff around the car. the car was searched and investigators found ten hidden packages containing cocaine worth over 1 million dollars. the man was traveling from mexico to denver. we're 32 days until
