presidential candidate picking up more delegates. hillary clinton wo added five superdelegates to her count. marco rubio won in washington , d.c., picking up 10 delegates. ted cruz won in wyoming. the texas senator won nine of the delegates up for grabs. 12hour presidential primary is on tuesday, one of five contest that day. polls open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. early voting is now over, but thousands of voters have already cast their vote, many of them without a photo id. including senator richard burr. senator burr cast a divisional ballot and explain why he cannot show his id. according to a spokesperson, the senator lost its but he got a new license in the interim. a change to the voter id law allows people without ids to cast a provisional ballot if

details now about a crash in the iditarod race. one dog was killed and three others injured. the mushers were not hurt. him man was accused of passing his snowmobile into them after a night of drinking. he is now held onto gustavus ultima reckless endangerment -- creeks and rivers continue to rise as torrential rain continues. 24 in louisiana. downpours affecting texas to tennessee. bridges were washed out and residents are fleeing from their homes. emergency crews had to rescue people by boat. the national guard was called in. at least three people died in louisiana alone. we do feel for the folks affected by the awful weather. liz: my brother was in louisiana and they had 24 inches.

cloud cover 50's out there for our northern sections. 60's for fayetteville, clinton, raeford. we should be seeing showers start to fill on in and move up to the northeast. the western area will see the rain first. you will see pockets of heavy rainfall and isolated thunderstorms possible this afternoon as well. overnight, we could see a bit of a shower or two. we may get a lull for a few hours before it ramps up again tomorrow. we could be seeing strong storms move through before we get to tuesday morning. bringing the showers there to portions of the midwest. on monday, it will change our flow pattern around here and also, our rain chances.
