with a terrible story out of iowa, someone murdered two police officers in ambush-style attacks. authorities confirm two officers killed worked for different police departments, one for des moines and other urban dale police officer. around 2:00 officers got a call of shots twenty minutes later another officer. both were killed while sitting in their patrol cars. the sergeant said his officers are in danger. >> there is a clear and present danger to police officers right now. we have doubled up our officers, urban dale is taking same precautions, definitely danger.

they told them to not report to buildings as this man hunt continues. >> we'll keep our eye on that story, 8:03. one man and choice of beverage led to a severe liver problem. this is a warning for anyone that drinks energy drinks. >> this is a h energy drinks. >> it would be to you and i but a lot of people drink four to five per day. this man was a laborer, construction worker. he did it three to four weeks and developed symptoms. he became anorexic. he didn't want to eat. nausea and vomiting and eyes started to turn yellow.

he found out his liver had been effected. it was effected by the energy drinks. he had an underlying case of hepatitis c which they didn't think contributed. they think it was because of some of the ingredients within these drinks. >> niacin came up as one of the possibility. >> it is a much, it can effect the liver. in this particular case, he didn't get a huge amount. he did get more than the normal everyday person should get. remember, niacin is used to treat cholesterol. when we give it to our patients, we give it to them in graduated steps, we watch their liver and careful. in this particular case, you could be getting niacin from
