the warm spots down 10 degrees. cold front on deck tonight. we are clear, dry. don't expect any rain out of this front. a lot of us would like rain in some of our yards. 57 in river view. hazy and any fog around has lifted we are starting to warm up a bit. 57 this hour a jump from last hour at 2 degrees. 64 right now here in tampa. we made it out of the 40s brooksville and crystal river. 50 in crystal river. 58 in wauchula. 63 in st. pete. here where is the clouds, where is the rain. not much out of that ahead of the front. behind is plenty of cooler temperatures to enjoy for two days. today, though, check out the dry air. as this pushes through, couple of clouds early this evening. once the sun sets, winds w wicking up. and cooler air settling in tomorrow morning. today, none of that arrives until after the daylight hours. enjoy beach day, pool day. noon, 77. we climb to 79 this afternoon.

first taste of a couple cool nights. chilly in brooksville. 42 tomorrow morning. we will talk 30s for some. monday morning coming up. developing this morning, a pasco county park remains closed as deputies recontinue to search for a body. >> sorboni: after the sheriff's office received a t tip. kellie cowan is live in new port richey this morning. monitoring all of the latest and has the update for us. kelly, what is going on for us now? >> reporter: hey, good morning to right now detectives are being very, very vague with the information. right now about all we know is that they are searching for a body on green key. and at this point, green key is still closed as you can see behind me. the barricade is up, keeping us off of the beach, as well as any other beachgoers as they continue this search. now today, their search revealed nothing although they say the cadaver dogs did indicate a couple different

prompted them to close down the park completely. now pasco county sheriffs tell me they are working with a tip about a body being buried on green key. you are looking at video captured by skyfox and our fox 13 crew yesterday before things were closed off to our cr crews.and to the public as w well. and detectives are also working closely with usf forensic anthropologist on this search and tell us that the investigatio continue through the remainder of the weekend. so everyone should expect the park to remain closed through the weekend as the search continues. now deputies tell me that the search will begin again at 9:00 this morning and of course we are here live all morning to bring you the latest as soon as we have it. for now we are live near new port richey, kellie cowan, fox 13 news. >> sorboni: all right, kellie, we will check back in with you. thank you so much.

into the water after a massive usage spill in town and cou country. a hillsborough county utilities contractor was installing a bypass when the pike broke. it happened on dane wood court. the raw usage spilled for three hours before it was capped. more than 200,000 gallons. not to fish, wa de in rocky creek or that area where the creek flows into the bay for the next cup of days. by the way, the tap water was not affected. >> a pinellas county deputy and using excessive force. it comes from this video of wayne wagner grabbing a woman and wrestling her to the ground and her head hit the concrete. the woman at some point faces felony charges. the case was frustrating but the video speaks for itself. the incident occurred march 25. deputy wagner recorded throwing paige taylor against a truck here. he later reported she shoved him and she was acting

taylor was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and was facing jail time and charges were dropped following an internal investigation. was n was fired. >> there is absolutely no room for a deputy sheriff to not tell the truth and not to own up to it and not accept responsibility if they do make a mistake. >> i am pleased to see miss taylor's name cleared as it should be. she has never been in trouble with the law before and this is something that she still holds concern. still gets nervous around law enforcement. this doesn't end for her today, but >> wagner had initially pulled the driver of the truck over for having a suspended license. the sheriff said it the unlikely that wagner will face charges and at this point, the case is still being reviewed. good news in the fight begins the zika virus. the world health organization says the virus is no longer a public health emergency, but they said it does not mean it is still not a threat. health officials say they now shift their focus on long-term programs. they are still trying to

develop a vaccine, and the long-term program will help further research. we still have to be careful here in florida. no doubt about that. more zika cases are still being reported, in fact the health department says nearly 1200 patients have tested positive for the virus in florida since the outbreak earlier this year. friday there were six new travel-related cases reported right here in the sunshine state and four new cases low camly acquired. most of them by the way are in the miami-dade county area where mosquitos are spreading the virus. birth defects. so pregnant women should still avoid travelling to the affected areas in miami. less than two weeks after being elected president, donald trump has settled his lawsuit involving trump university. trump has agreed to adds 25 million settlement. every victim in the case will get half their money back. some will get a full refund. trump will also pay $1 million to the state of new york for violating state education laws. his attorney says the

but one of the school's tea teachers took the mic away before he had a chance tosp speak. my son is a little different, i know this, but his heart is so big and he loves everyone. what does it matter if he wanted to say gobble, gobble. he was the turkey after all. she add that her son has high functions autism that doesn't get in the way of him being a happy little boy. >> after that incident, the county superintendent called the teacher's actions a mistake but said she was not acting in malice. >> if with he had to do it all agree would have done it a little differently. i will speak to the teacher tomorrow. i have spoken to the principal today, but i will talk to the principal tomorrow too. and we will sit down and kind of go over some of the things that we saw, and that ways we can remedy that and always be cognizant that we are sending a message to our children and parents and community that these children are very, very important. autistic students, any type of

embrace all of them and give them the quality education they deserve. >> all right, but this story does have a happy ending. after the incident, caleb's mom posted a message to facebook where he got to say what he wanted to say at the end of the play. >> gobble, gobble, gobble! >> alcides: good for him. >> sorboni: a lot more people saw that too. therapy animals, therapy pigs, therapy goats, and about one in the spirit of the season now. residents at a nursing and rehab center got their thanksgiving turkey in a different way this week. meet priscilla, a 30-pound therapy turkey. her owner found priscilla at a roadside sale. always intended to be a pet, never a dinner. when her owner saw how calm she was around people that priscilla had a higher calling to be a therapy bird. >> she is so tame, i thought she would make a good therapy animal because she is so tame and friendly and calm.

sexual battery. according to police, the victim worked for him at a restaurant called encant to o. he told her he was a massage therapist before inappr inappropriately touching her. tampa police made an arrest after a toddler was shot. 17-year-old javaris london open fired on the girl's father as he ran into the apartment complex on robles park village. 15 shots were fired and one of them hate 21-month-old in the leg and she is expected to be okay. man in n connection with that shooting. an update on a bizarre story in tampa. javon jamison and another man broke into farmer's market on fletcher avenue earlier this morning. they broke the glass door to get in and it was all caught on video. jamison was wearing a tutu at the time. he is now charged with bur burglary, criminal mischief and petty theft. a man shoots and kills a deputy u.s. marshal in southeast georgia.

murdering other police off officers. carter was wanted in south carolina on multiple charges and a team of u.s. marshals had tracked him to a mobile home yesterday. as he were entering that home patrick caruthers were shot twice. officers returned fire and shot carter multiple times. both men later died at the hospital. the 53-year-old was the deputy commander of the agency's southeast task force, and he is survived by his wife and five children. hundreds of workers at chicago o'hare international airport are pnn holiday. here is what we know. the workers include everyone from janitors to wheelchair attendant, those that are not unionized. they want to get paid $15 an hour. right now, some of them make minimum wage which is about $8.25 in illinois. officials say they are committed to an ongoing dialogue. they don't expect the strike to impact flights. unionized federal employees handle more critical operations. either way, this is happening on one of the busiest times of

airports in the country. a new bill is gaining political traction in texas that says feminine hygiene products should be exempt. sale prices are part of exemption with state your names like groceries and medication. hb 219 in texas which if it becomes law will add feminine hygiene products to the sales tax exemption. thinking diapers for children and adults should be >> i would hope common sense for just about everybody on the house floor as well as the senate to recognize that feminine hygiene products are a medical necessity and we should not be taxing those. >> sorboni: howard says state lawmakers could make up for it by weeding out inefficient programs in the state budget and redirecting revenue str streams. four bills have been for the upcoming session. looking like christmas in california and the streets are filled with white and not snow, it is actually foam.

clara, california yesterday. a malfunctioning fire alarm at a new hangar at the san jose airport flooded a nearby street billowing amounts of foam. this pretty much happened after the fire system there was tested. it was deeper than five feet in some areas. streets were shut down because of all that foam. one man even had to brave through it. >> it just felt like soap. yeah, just felt like soap. kind of smells like it too. >> reporter: how yeah, literally nothing. in the middle probably like 10 feet tall. yeah. i tried to stand up in the middle to see where i was go going. >> alcides: not a good idea. it took cleanup crews eight hours to clean up the foamy mess. >> sorboni: party in the streets. you got to wonder about the chemicals on him. how about this very unusual patient underwent a c.a.t. scan in florida. this is casper. a 13-foot long lucistic alligator.
