Amnion Records declares WAR ON BULLSHIT with this 12 track compilation from international artists. This record is a direct response from the international noise underground to the teachings of the pseudo-spiritual leader "Jasmuheen" who claims to have not eaten since 1993 due to being "spiritually trained" in order to "live on light." As a direct result of these teachings, six people have starved to death. Jasmuhhen claims no responsibility for these deaths and...

The second Buttercup Insurgent cd-r release (following the 2006 release, 'stay free!' - now out of print) and the first release for Amnion records! The first track here is a mixture of aleatoric instruments and digital noise textures combined to create a disorientating and chaotic noise track. The second, much longer track is a dark drone soundscape using recordings of Indonesian birthday celebrations (containing elements of a recording copyright parking sun, see free sound project) and long,...

A beautifully sinister tension runs throughout these seven derelict minimal noise soundscapes. This latest offering from Germany's DER DOMESTIZIERTE MENSCH takes a much more considered and thoughtful approach than the average noise album doing the online rounds.

Amukairoh is the bastard child of Tony Bones. Tony releases music of many genres under many pseudonyms. In Mid 2008 Tony was struck down with illness which forced him to rest up quite a lot. Prior to that Tony has been working on an industrial project named Horiakuma [Japanese for tattooed demon]. In the months that followed Tonys musical tastes moved towards more ambient and electronic music with a need to chill out personally. As Tony began to recover and regain fitness his tastes began...

The 3rd full length release by Buttercup Insurgent takes its inspirations from a wide range of sources such as horror movie soundtracks, early industrial music, the depraved fictional worlds of William Burroughs 'cut-up' novels, as well as themes of anxiety, depersonalisation and paranoia. This album has a dark, sinister, brooding feel at times but also a chaotic, disjointed feeling at others.

Hailing from Baltimore, USA., Mold Omen offer up 4 servings of deliriously discordant out-rock jams that feel like insects under your skin! The Wire seemed to quite like them when they reviewed them back in February, though you can never really be exactly sure with the wire can you? ;)
