As part of the proposed budget, organizational changes are being proposed to the City's Environmental Sustainability and Planning Departments to improve customers service, efficiency and transparency. This video clip is an excerpt from the Budget Workshop during the April 27 Council meeting.
The City’s annual budget is based on the City Council’s Work Plan that carries out the City’s mission to maintain its rural residential character by establishing programs and policies that avoid suburbanization and commercialization of its natural and cultural resources. The proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2022-23 addresses three main aspects of critical alignment to achieve the City’s mission through the City’s organization: staffing; technology; and the protection of natural and cultural resources.
