Our first 2 guests are Jessica Rodriguez Jessica Rodriguez, Senior Medical Social Worker with the Office of Violence Prevention and Trauma Recovery, and Juan Rios, Clinical Supervisor of the LCSW with the Office of Violence Prevention and Trauma Recovery. The two discuss mental health, ways to identify trauma, mental health services offered by the City of Newark and much more.
On the second half of the show Mayor Baraka and co-host Desiree speak with Mary Carson who's turning 91 in May of 2022. We're honoring one of Newark's oldest mothers by acknowledging her milestone age and more.
