Local students from Lupine Experiential School got in the giving spirit with a special delivery to the residents of Vancouver's first Safe Stay Community in east Vancouver. As part of a community-building service project, the children delivered cookies, homemade holiday decor and welcome cards – ushering in the holiday spirit and sparking a bit of joy for those working to transition out of homelessness.
With the support of the Affordable Housing Fund, the City has opened two supportive Safe Stay Communities, with a third anticipated to open in January 2023. Learn more about the City's response to homelessness at https://www.beheardvancouver.org/homelessness-response
