Great set list
Cumberland- (Not too many as 1st set openers)
Rain & Snow-(going back to 65)
Me & My Uncle- (Bob breaks a string)
King Bee- (has that Death Don't vibe but sexy)
Mason's-(not a fan, but solid, good vocals/jam)
Black Peter-played the previous night as well
Note: Jerry stretches this one out a wee bit
with a slower tempo.
Good Lovin'-well played but does have a cut.
Dancin'-very straight forward
BELOW FITS WITH MY THEORY ON THE SHORT SET:
Articles and ads in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin for 1/22 and 1/24/70 make it clear that there were shows only on the 23rd and 24th,
with the opening bands:
The Sun And The Moon,
September Morn,
and Pilfredge Sump,
with lights by Noah's Ark.
That is a lot of bands for a show that runs from 8pm to Midnight
p.s.-The Airplane was definitely NOT on the bill.
