Significance of this disc:

1. The trailer and images on this disc for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone PC game contain some pre-release elements and scenes. Some scenes are considered alpha / beta and were not included in the final game retail release. The preview trailer for Sorcerer's Stone on the PC displays a scene for the infamous Flipendo Block Puzzle which was cut from the final retail version. This is similar to other game elements demoed at E3 2001 for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone PC game which contained alpha / beta elements, but never made it into the retail version.

2. Galen'sGamingResource, a member of the Harry Potter modding community, has recreated the Flipendo Block Puzzle as part of what was demoed at E3 2001 prior to being cut from the final version of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD520wbGZ58 (starting at 2:49 minute mark.)

Other notes:

1. Running the disc on a Windows 10 64bit machine as of 2020.12 would only execute the program running in compatibility mode for Windows XP Service Pack 3.

2. When opening the .img, the user might have to right click on the HPCDBUS.exe to launch the software in WinXPSP3 compatibility mode.

3. The Windows screensaver does not work or load and goes to a black screen upon 'preview' option in the Windows screensaver dialog window.
