The rational method is used to evaluate the surface runoffs on peak stages occurred at small areas like field lands, parking spots, public parks etc. This method does not provide any accurate infiltration rate. In this method we observe especially water movements and their inputs through hydrological cycle. By using of this method there is no timing collaboration between the peak flow.

R. K. Narayan has emerged as a complex writer whose limpid novels reveal unsuspected depths. He has consciously attempted to naturalize or Indianize the Western novel by transporting the traditions of linear narration, Victorian realism and the modernist psychological multi-text upon the circular and digressive structure, and the symbolical and ethical framework, of the ancient Hindu narratives. This fabular quality in Narayan’s fiction confers universality and depth and extends the...

The objective of the study of the Hindon river water quality with respect to Cr contamination, water samples were collected from three different sites (Saharanpur, Baghpat and Gautam Budh Nagar). Cr toxicity in plants depends on its valence state. Cr exists in several oxidation states but the most stable and common forms are Cr (0), Cr (III) and Cr (VI) species. Cr (VI) as being highly mobile is toxic, while Cr (III) as less mobile is less toxic. Cr is taken up by plants through carriers of...

For a long time humans have colonized, captured and economized the resources on the earth. But with the advancement in the space law now the space and the celestial bodies are also open for being harnessed as an economic resource. One such incident was of a small Pacific country of “Tonga”. The bone of contention was the Geostationary Orbit Slot (GSO) allocation for the country by International Telecommunication Union in 1988-1990. The debate regarding the issue began when the Pacific...
