Subject: Heigh Ho Silver
"The Lone Ranger" album by The Lone Ranger includes parts of Felix Mendelssohn's "Hebrides Overture" (also known as "Fingal's Cave"). This suggests that the album may feature a blend of Western music with classical elements, or perhaps some kind of tribute to Mendelssohn. The character was originally created in the early 20th century, a time when attitudes toward Native Americans were often based on stereotypes and prejudice. this cultural period was also characterized by the institutionalized genocide against Native Americans, which raises important questions about how we should interpret and contextualize works of art from that time. Many settlers and pioneers were focused on claiming land and resourcs, and often saw Native Americans as obstacles to be overcome rather than fellow human beings with their own cultures and histories. The soldiers cared more about the mukle than the Native Americans. The displacment and mistreatment of Native Americans is a tragic part of American history, and one that has had lasting impacts on Indigenous communities. They did not have to execute the mule just tell everyone it died of old age like you tell your kids when their goldfish gets eaten by your cat etc ..
