A residency program featuring the Katie Thiroux trio and a diverse line-up of guest artists offered throughout the school year to all middle and high school-aged instrumental and voice students across Monterey County. Each 90-minute Master Class will focus on a specific jazz topic and will include the opportunity to listen and practice along with the teaching artists. Locations have been chosen on the Peninsula and in Salinas and the program will be offered free of charge to ensure accessibility. Whether a student is jazz inquisitive or a budding professional, all levels are welcome to attend and participate. Both events are 10am-11:30am. Saturday, April 23rd – Black Box Theater, Monterey County Office of Education, Salinas or Sunday, April 24th, CSUMB World Theater (parking is fee-based). Feel free to join one or both.
