Fingerless Mitts/Muffatees ?
These are listed as stockings but are probably fingerless mitts, gauntlets, or muffatees. They are a knitted pair. Appears to be knitted lengthwise in garter stitich, which is more common to fingerless mitts. Yarn weight appears to be worsted, #4 weight which is thick for socks or stockings. They might be bed socks or stockings, or meant to be worn like leg warmers. Too thick to fit into shoes.
