WB6MID/8R3 was the radio callsign used by operators at the Peoples Temple Agricultural/Medical Project at Jonestown, Guyana in the 1970's. Most of the cult members who lived in Jonestown died on November 18, 1978 of an apparent mass suicide dictated by their leader, the Reverend Jim Jones.  Attached is a QSL card (JPEG under Download Options) sent out by the station for a contact made with VE3HLC in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada on July 2, 1978, along with copies of the logbook pages for both stations, and an old CQ magazine article regarding this amateur radio station in Jonestown.
