01-04-2018 Well, this one is a repeat of a show done back in 2009 featuring some memorable music setting a certain somber feel for the most part. Proud of this one because of the musicians featured. The presentation is a bit stilted but the music is what you want to focus on. Thanks for listening. (by the way, it was a blizzard taking place today that forced the repeat of a past show, just couldn't make it into the station) Jevetta Steele, Calling You - soundtrack to Bagdad Café (1987 film),...

Doesn't often happen on RVR, but sure glad they brought their voice/guitars. We heard 3 live tunes, hear them here yourself. Very much enjoyed the songs and sensibilities. Catch more of Shula's work on CDBaby where you can find her album "Small and Taller Tales", search for Shula Ruth Weinstein. Also be on the lookout for the string band that Shula plays cello...

Don't be fooled by the title of the orchestra - it turns out that there is a very wide range of instruments - in sound as well as in size - comprising a flute orchestra. You may come away from this premiere with a new and abiding appreciation of the flute. Anyhow, to help the orchestra out, you may attend the Sunday performance, pay...

My guest, and personal friend, Dave Downs had the chair in Studio B and we went on to have a nice disucssion about his music and his festival efforts for New Horizons over the years.
