An example of the Lombard effect. As the plane is passing directly above and the noise level reaches its peak, the vocal behavior of the animals (squirrels, chipmunks, birds) becomes frantic. When the plane passes and the levels drop, the rate and volume of the animal's calls is noticeably less. Recorded in XY at 24/96.
