With summer near it's end, many schools are planning in-person learning this year. Parents wrote to "Ask Dr. Echols" asking questions about a safe return to school for their children. Dr. Echols encourages all parents, students, staff, and teachers to continue to maintain COVID-19 safety.
Here are the questions this week:
0:24 Jennifer from 63147 asked, "Over the years, why have certain vaccinations been required to attend school?"
1:27 Princeton from 63107 asked, "Should my son get a physical examination before returning to school?"
2:43 Gwendolyn from 63115 asked, "Why does the Department of Health recommend sleep schedules for school aged children?"
4:02 Lisa from 63110 asked, "Is it true that this school year all students will be required to wear masks?"
To have your question answered by Dr. Echols, send an email to: health@stlouis-mo.gov. Or send a letter to: City of St. Louis Department of Health 1520 Market Street Room 4041 St. Louis, MO 63103
