A prototype for the Chuck personality in the TV Show
I was having great time watching very highly IMDB rated American TV series "Chuck". It is a "spy
comedy" , but also very educational, though important information is delivered under a thick comic layer of fun.
Chuck is a genius Stanford dropout who got involved in spy works.
Mrs. Jacobsen' book presented us with a ..
Chuck real life prototype:
a genius American information tech specialist David A. Bray.
just a small quote:
David Bray has always been a remarkably focused
person. His area of expertise is informatics, the science of how information is gathered, stored, and retrieved. The son of a minister and a teacher, Bray started winning national science prizes in middle school. By age fifteen, he had his first job with the federal government, with the Department of Energy at its Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility
Show `Chuck` may be considered as based on the assumption that David Bray's most desired
professional goal was already achieved in a format of INTERSECT- an IT technology to connect TOGETHER all available and deep intel all around the agencies and sources, etc
In "Chuck" the Intersect also can be `humanized`: meaning a person can have access to all of the united data bases of Intersect DIRECTLY to the persons BRAIN, which is SiFi of course, but ..not exactly )))
Anyway, character Chuck is derived from elements of David Bray life and may be some elements of the figure of the.. nuclear physicist John Poindexter who is rarely noted for his prowess in nuclear physics.
Both Bray and Pointdexter imagined and designed things very similar to the fictional INTERSECT concepts of total information and INTER-connectivity, as described in a action comedy show "Chuck"
