This was my first time lapse attempt.

I'm a scientist, right? So let's experiment!
I took pictures with my Sony VX2000 miniDV camera while tethered to a VAIO.
It created proprietary DVF images which I converted with JVC JLIP tool to JPG.
Then I used mencoder to create a 6-frames/sec Motion-JPEG AVI.
Not super interesting (just my old place's living room) but fun to see where my evil all started...
