sfo airport, windy conditions as well later on this afternoon. there are some flight arrival delays of over two hours but that's mainly due to traffic management. cooler and breezy today. a chance of rain. more like sprinkles late tonight and tomorrow morning. cold and blustery tomorrow. temperatures will be well below normal. if you are headed to the coliseum for the a's game, grab a jacket. it will be pretty sunny and some breezes might cool you down a bit. temperatures in the low 60s for the most part throughout the game. here's a look at the pacific satellite image. this is what is causing the change in the weather. we have high pressure, low pressure. the cool air sliding south, bringing us colder temperatures. as we see a pressure gradient increase over the land and sea," we start to see the winds increase, as well. so this afternoon we could see 30 mile-an-hour winds easily along the coast, even 20 miles per hour winds in other parts of the bay area. windy condition will stay with us even into some of the overnight hours. it will relax a b

sfo officials don't see it that way. the airport says that ride sharing is the same as a taxi and permits are needed to regulate traffic. the airport says if ride sharing drivers are caught on airport property, they could be subject to tresspassing charges. what remains to be seen is how the airport would enforce the policy. lyft drivers all have pink mustaches on the front of their cars but most ride sharing companies don't have such distingusishing marks on their cars. instacab says the airport needs to get with the times and quit picking on them for providing a service that fills the taxi void in the city. we understand that they need to have policies in place so that people are safe and we are willing to work with them and share information about these drivers and share information on how we do background checks on them and security checks on them. but, at this point it seems they are not willing to work with us. the popularity of these ride sharing apps is growing day by day and other airports across the country are

sfo right now 25 miles an hour. 16 in oakland. 22 in napa. mountain view reporting 18 miles an hour. i have to point out fairfield though taking the prize on this map 31 miles an hour. and the winds have actually let up a little bit from early this morning when we were clocking 65-75 miles an hour gusts along part of the coast and in some of our hills the winds are gusting to 60 miles an hour. even close to 60. i want to run you through think map and show you when i expect the winds to let up. they will strengthen a little bit before that happens. take a look off the coast. this is where we see our strongest wind. anywhere from 40-50 miles an hour. in and around the bay we're seeing 20-30. that is what i showed you a moment ago. by 2:00 or so notice how along the east bay and southern portions of the bay and along the peninsula starting to get a light orange here. maybe 25 close to 30 and then 35 close to 40 by 5:00 here. notice this section of orange here. the north bay looks like the winds will be lightening up for your neighborhood. and th

there you have sfo that had airport delays up to an hour -- up to an hour of windy conditions. ocean beach along the coast it's going to be another windy day tomorrow afternoon. now meanwhile currently sfo at 50 degrees, the winds have dialed back now out of the west 21 with gusts up to 25 miles per hour. bottom line is we will see decreasing winds in the overnight hours and tomorrow will pan out to be sunny with increasing clouds during the afternoon and increasing winds. the extended forecast calls for more winds and even the possibility of frost. right now, we're in the 50s but when you couple up those winds, it feels a lot chillier outside than what it actually is. this is what you need to know. over sunday and especially on monday, the north and east bay hills, the diablo mountain range and the santa cruz mountains will have wind gusts up 60 miles per hour. travel with caution over the ridges. through the overnight hours and winds begin to doyle back east of the day. then you'll notice by tomorrow morning, when rise and shine just a bit on the breezy side north of the gold
